This year's GCSE results are Forest's best ever. A* or 8 was the most common grade for both boys and girls for the 7th year in a row, and 77% of all the grades awarded being A**/A*/A or 9/8 and 54% of which were at 9/A** or the previously top 8/A*. Congratulations to them all!
Monday mornings never felt so good! Welcome back EVERYONE.
We’ve read and understood the plans and protocols. Let’s do this!

We are observing social distancing guidelines but some camera angles may distort that view.
Congratulations to our amazing Y11 pupils. Bucking the national trend they join last week’s Y13 A Level results in celebrating Forest School’s best exam results in the School’s history!

Forest Y7 Alex's 200m time on Saturday made him no.1 in the UK at U13 and yesterday he broke his own age group record at the Essex Championships, won gold and won the most outstanding individual performance of the day. Wonder what he has in store for Sports Day tomorrow!
Welcome back!
It’s great to see friends.
Pupils may feel an enormous sense of relief tied to a little apprehension, but with the testing hub running regular COVID-19 tests we hope everyone can be reassured the return to school has been managed as safely as possible.

Congratulations Year 13s! There have been impressive individual results across all 26 subjects with strong results in the Arts & Humanities subjects; subjects that are becoming increasingly over-looked in favour of science-based subjects in many schools.

‘My EPQ was on merging western and eastern culture and seeing if I could portray a western story using an eastern art form. The story I used was Little Red Riding Hood and the dance form is known as Bharatanatyam.’ (Sruthi Y13)
More on A Levels and EPQ....
We are proud of our Year 13 students and the impressive A Level results they have achieved during such a difficult time. In light of all the uncertainty that continues to surround the results process, our energy will be focused on supporting students. A fuller report coming soon.
