I love how most characters in Destiny 2 have gotten some story focus, except for Shaxx. Shaxx kept his helmet on and played dodgeball, and that’s all she wrote.
So let me get this straight
The Witness wants to reset the universe. Sounds evil to me
So they can make a new universe where there’s less chaos, life is more peaceful & balanced, all life is given a chance and Trials of Osiris doesn’t exist.
…How are they the villain?
“You know what I’ll say it. I’d much rather have vaulted Destiny 2 content return over D1 content. I can still play Destiny 1, I physically can’t play stuff like Menagerie or Scourge of the Past. Would I like D1 stuff to get update, yes. But I also want the stuff I paid for back”
Listen, I don’t mind Destiny 2 becoming more difficult, but why was this new system applied to every activity? Who in their right mind wanted Nightmare Hunts, Empire Hunts, Dares of Eternity and Lost Sectors to be harder?
I hate how on the surface Bungie tries to paint themselves as a caring inclusive company, while in reality they’re one of the worst for how they treat their employees, customers and communities.
The Kingsfall handcannon is now a solar 140, instead a void 110 like in Destiny 1. It can also get explosive payload in slot one, meaning it can get enhanced explosive payload and enhanced incandescent when crafted
“What’s the point of making a trailer if you’re just going to post it the day of release? At that point the people who watch the Trailer already bought the season or probably saw the leaks. The point of a trailer is build promotion, a last minute trailer doesn’t do that.”
I have issues with Destiny, but imagine if Bungie banned people who did the menagerie chest exploit, AFK forge farms, Double Hawthorne deepsights, Khepri’s Horn Iron Banner, New Light legendary shard exploit or any of the Telesto bugs.
“Now that Destiny 2 Lightfall is almost 3 months old, can I just say that I don’t really like Tormentors. They feel really easy to deal with in almost all the content they’re in, and are kinda repetitive to face. Honestly, I would rather face Hive Guardians over them any day.”
Me watching the Destiny Community spend thousands on the Solstice cosmetics knowing damn well that Cross was right and micro transactions are only going to get worse.
Destiny Community: i sure wish bungie would bring back some of the sunset content that we payed for…
Bungie: here’s 12 fan favourite weapons, 9 of which have been sunset since 2020!
Destiny community:
I love how Bungie introduced sunsetting to deal with overpowered weapons, just so they could make a weapon stronger than Recluse ever was (In PvP). This ain’t even a jab at Immortal for being overpowered, I’m more pissed that sunsetting was even more pointless.
I understand reskins are part of Destiny and I know reskins don’t bother people that much, but I do want to point out. Curse of Osiris introduced more new legendary weapon models to the franchise than Lightfall’s entire year of Content so far.
Can I just say, as someone who is part of the LGBLT+ community that I fucking hate Nimbus. They’re a prime example of a character being made a they/them only to fill a quota or to be a scapegoat for Lightfall’s awful writing.
It still to this day baffles me that someone at a meeting for D2 was like
“HEY, we should have our own Jar Jar Binks but worse in every way”
And mfs starts clapping and wrote them into the story
Gonna be honest, am I the only one who feels most of Destiny’s lore ends up being disappointing when it’s actually pit in the game? There’s exceptions here and there, but it very rarely lives up to the buildup/hype. Saint & Rhulk are a good example of being good in lore and game.
The things I would do to go back to this era of Destiny 2. It wasn’t perfect, but it was the last time Destiny was in a good spot and felt like it had a brighter future.

In Season 22 Bungie said they’re adding their most complex catalyst for a highly requested weapon. I’ve seen people say it’s Monte/Thorn, but maybe it’s The Last Word. What if TLW’s catalyst turned it into First Curse when ADS? It’s a buff for TLW & a way to return First Curse.
