At 11am today our drivers and depot staff will observe a minute's silence to pay tribute to all transport workers who've lost their lives to Coronavirus - COVID19. Where safe, buses will pull over as we think of them. Our thoughts go to the families & friends of those we've lost.
We will be holding a 1 minute silence today at 12noon to remember our First Essex colleagues who have sadly passed away recently. Our bus drivers will pull over at this time if safe to do so. Our thoughts are with the friends and families affected by this sad news.

Have you spotted a poppy on your bus yet?
Since 1st November, buses across the First Essex fleet of 300 vehicles have featured red poppies as a mark of respect ahead of Remembrance Day.
It’s the law to wear a face covering on a bus. Drivers are issuing notices to customers without one, unless exempt, as a reminder that they may be liable to be fined. It can be a mask, scarf, bandana or any other material. We look forward to welcoming you back on board!
