@BarbMcQuade @AnthonyColey So when you were USA, your office never prosecuted a kickback scheme as long as the subject denied there was a kickback scheme. Right.

I agree with @AnthonyColey . Fani Willis made a terrible decision to date Nathan Wade, and that may bring ethics issues for her, but her testimony dispelled any kickback scheme that would disqualify her. Nothing about this affects the fair trial rights of Trump and co-defendants.

@FXRegan @BarbMcQuade @AnthonyColey When the person suspected of receiving the kickback is a Democrat, they automatically get the benefit of a thousand doubts. If the same thing happened to Trump or another Republican, just the accusation would be enough to demand their resignation and indictment.

@NeilAxelrod @BarbMcQuade @AnthonyColey It's why for weeks I've used the analogy of a county road official who awards a paving contract, then receives a benefit in return. Those kinds of cases are prosecuted in federal court everyday across the country.

@FXRegan @BarbMcQuade @AnthonyColey There's no kickback scheme, and it's weird that you're so ready to memory hole that Trump pressured the SOS to lie about the vote count, which is all on tape.
