Our staff will continue working with local law enforcement and emergency management to monitor conditions throughout tonight and tomorrow morning. We will make a decision by 5:30 am tomorrow.
March 16-20 FCS will be offering free meal pick-up service for all students on the campuses of Sawnee ES & Whitlow ES, 12 – 1 pm. This is open to all public and private school students in FC pre-school to age 18 (21 for special needs). Visit for details.

Tuesday, February 16, 2021 will be a two-hour delay for all Forsyth County schools due to projected weather conditions. Buses will run two-hours later than their normal time, lunch will be served and dismissal times will not change.

FCS will be closed on Thur., Oct 29 due to expected inclement weather. There will be no online learning due to projected widespread power outages. All activities and athletics are also cancelled for Oct. 29.
