Eureka College was heartbroken to learn on Thursday of the passing of beloved alumnus and longtime professor Dr. Loren Logsdon at age 84.
Revered for his kindness, generosity, Dr. Logsdon mentored countless students in his 54 years as a professor.

The eighth annual Lincoln Bowl versus Knox at McKinzie Field is one month from tonight.
Eureka won the inaugural event 62-55 in Galesburg on Sept. 1, 2012, a game in which Sam Durley broke a single-game NCAA record with 736 passing yards. The record still stands!
"I was just totally in shock," Michelle Curl said. "I didn't know how to react because I was just stunned, totally in shock. Then, all of a sudden, tears just began pouring out of my eyes."

In an effort to help the Lincoln College students complete their bachelor degrees, EC will be matching the net tuition cost for all LC students who choose to transfer to Eureka.

Michael Reagan, author, political commentator and son of President Ronald Reagan, delivered the keynote address at the Reagan Memorial Ceremony at Eureka College on Wednesday, the 15th anniversary of the 1932 EC alum's passing.

Finch, a Eureka native and a 1984 Eureka College alumnae, will be EC's first Director of Fine Arts Advancement and Recruitment, EC announced on Friday.
