In the 42-year history of the Dirt Track World Championship Race, Tyler Reddick is the youngest driver to make the starting line-up. He was 14-years-old in 2010 when he made the race and finished in 23rd. He would finish 15th in 2011 and 25th in 2012.

One of my favorite moments in my announcing career was the win by Mike Marlar in 2004 Hillbilly 100. I believe he won with a steel block engine and as I recall alot of fans there were saying "who is this guy?"..a great moment for sure.

C.J. Rayburn told me before the Jackson 100 in 1996 that this was the smartest and best payoff he had ever seen and thanked me for doing this. I still have people several years later remember this race and what the payoff was. Probably need to do this again at some point.
