@DeAngelisCorey
The bigger problem is that each one likely has a half dozen deputies and a half dozen principals who each have a dozen or seventeen dozen assistants. Public education dollars are increasingly devoured by administration and consultants while teachers and students are left behind.
@telldylan
So sad. Post modernism as taught in our universities and schools, encouraged by our media, defended by Democratic politicians and ignored by Republicans.
We’re a couple months into Biden’s policies and we have labor shortages, chicken shortages, lumber shortages, gasoline shortages, and soaring inflation. There’s no such thing a free lunch. There are only trade offs.
Did
@GovEvers
provide any leadership during the rioting? Has he provided any concrete leadership on policing reform? Is he showing leadership yet on unemployment payments? What does he do?
Wow. An Evers admin attorney just told the Dentistry Examining Board that dentists can ignore
@GovEvers
order banning non-emergency dental care and that they won't be enforced against. This contradicts previous guidance. This administration is confused and confusing.
Dear Wisconsin Legislature, just because Evers won’t sign it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. Fund students instead of systems. Iowa, Indiana, Florida, Arizona, North Dakota, etc.. are all moving.
I was watching a press conference with the superintendent of Madison public schools today and learned the local teachers union MTI refuses to return to the job until 2 weeks have passed without a single positive test. Isn’t that unlikely to happen in the next 2 yrs...or ever?
so... the WI GOP holds every assembly seat... picks up a state senate seat...wins the governor's office... and then, suddenly, thousands of new ballots are found in Milwaukee...
Wisconsin suburban voters (the ones who determine statewide elections this decade) have soundly rejected former President Trump tonight in WI SD 08. Love or hate the results, it's time to turn the page on the past and focus on winning.
@DavidFBowen
Why would you travel to a home where children are known to reside with at least one individual carrying a shotgun? Why did you think that was an appropriate action?
@EmpowerWi
@VickiMcKenna
For 20 years, I’ve observed a pattern in WI politics so consistent that it may be a maxim - Democrats appoint stone cold partisans to government boards. Republicans appoint well intended public servants and occasional cronies. Who do you think wins?

@AFPhq
Are you looking at Kansas?
@AFPKansas
@lizannpatton
@Jonlueth
@KSEconomist
and their entire team just helped amazing legislative champions override the governor’s veto of REINS! Kansas will be the 2nd full REINS Act State after Wisconsin. 1/2

I will not be censored from telling the world that Westby Co-op French Onion Dip is the best French Onion Dip, especially when purchased at

@GovEvers
is looking just awful so far in oral arguments before the WI Supreme Court. They are claiming that a cabinet secretary can order people arrested for just going for a drive without any explicit grant of authority or even oversight from the legislature.
Why bother they said. You can’t get anything done they said. This is why
@AFPhq
takes on the tough fights. Make the impossible inevitable.

Meanwhile in Wisconsin, Democrat election deniers are working through the courts to nullify the votes of approximately 1.4 million citizens and remove 17 duly elected state senators from office…
Wisconsin Democrats never wanted fair maps. It’s always been a cynical exercise of raw power. Now that this fact has become crystal clear, the depth of media interference covering for the Democrats is also apparent.
.
@JayWeber3
Today, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel attacked several GOP small business owners for opposing
@GovEvers
surprise tax on Covid relief but failed to note that Democratic Congressman Mark Pocan received the same relief and voted to make it tax free. This is media bias.
The Wisconsin State Senate just adjourned the last expected session day without passing the
#ROFR
legislation to jack up utility profits and our bills. This is a huge victory for Wisconsinites, small businesses, and our manufacturers. Amazing work by
@AFPWI
and the coalition
@redsteeze
When they say “we need to do something for the climate,” what they mean is you’re going to pay more to heat your home and fuel your car while they go about their luxurious lives as usual.
@JackPosobiec
Here’s a little history on WI elections. If I recall correctly the police report referenced here was written by the Kraken. I spent 04 on the IL state line and personally witnessed massive illegal voting.
@sarahbeth345
Every household would be supplied with cases of rapid antigen tests and properly trained in their frequent use and appropriate steps to take after receiving a positive result.

@afpwi
is out in snowy St. Croix County today. Turnout in the primary on this side of the state was low. We’ll turn that around for the general.

You know Bidenomics has raised the cost of living $22K in Wisconsin but did you know that Tammy Baldwin supports all of it?
We’re bringing the Bidenomics tour to WI this week to highlight Baldwin’s connection to inflation (and to provide a little relief to families).
Tune into

The signing of school choice legislation in Wisconsin today is a huge leap forward for funding students over systems. Tens of thousands of families will have new opportunities to flourish as a result.

isn’t letting a little blizzard stop them from mobilizing caucus goers in Iowa for

. The mission to defeat Biden starts here.

Congressman Ron Kind is retiring as is now the WI Senate Democratic Leader. The Assembly Dem leader in WI already stepped down. What a year in
#wispolitics
According to the Evers admin, their Foxconn deal retroactively qualifies the company for corporate welfare in 2020 even though the company violated the original deal. Giving away $$$ for jobs already created isn't an "incentive."
As
@POTUS
and
@GovEvers
promise everything is fine, people are burning $4/gallon gas driving store to store for baby formula as their retirement savings tank.
Congratulations
@JusticeDanKelly
on a hard fought victory and thank you to
@JudgeDorowWI
for a strong race. It's time to unite for justice, the rule of law, and liberty. On to April.
Big news in Wisconsin state legislative politics. Former Rep. Romaine Quinn, a strong liberty candidate, is challenging Democratic Leader Bewley in Wisconsin's far NW state senate seat. Smart money will be on Quinn to flip this long blue district.

It’s fair to compare and contrast the events this week with Madison 2011. There are many similarities and some big differences but those in the press attempting to whitewash 2011 as some Kumbaya singalong are flat out wrong.
The rhetorical evolution from “safe, rare, and legal” to full-throated cries of “abortion is a virtue” is yet another sign that something has gone horribly wrong with our society.
Wisconsin absentee ballot returns have dropped off a cliff compared to 2020. This should have Democrats nervous. I'm surprised there's been almost no discussion about this trend in the press.
#wipolitics
The Desantis administration rebuilt a bridge in a matter of days after the hurricane. Governor Evers has had almost 4 years and his administration still can’t get basic licenses out the door on time.
.
@JayWeber3
Have you noticed this trend where
@SenRonJohnson
says something controversial about covid, is hammered by the media, and is then found to be correct months later? He he was in May calling out GOF research. Turns out he was right.
.
@afpwi
WI’s legislature spent the past decade chipping away at our absurdly high business taxes. Congress passed tax reform. Now corporate tax collections are so high in WI (in spite of Covid) that we may avoid a budget repair bill. Remarkable how that works.
@GroverNorquist
I’m talking to more and more families who are pulling their kids from virtual public schooling and moving up north for the school year to districts planning in person instruction. I wonder if the trend will be enough to reverse declining enrollment in some areas.
