Today I have formally asked

to reduce my PAs (hours worked) after being hit by an £8,000 tax bill this year and expecting an even bigger one next year. Unfortunately this is the only way to reduce this unfair

Will, has your Trust approved a reduction in PAs? My Trust has declined a reduction in PAs <10 citing the “service requirement” cannot allow this. Going to mediation

Or (if you have children < 18 years old), you take statuary unpaid leave. Has the same impact.
