I made this shelf for katie for Christmas. The walnut piece was salvaged and refinished from an old pump organ. The cast brackets were from a guy up the road. They were in bad shape and I repainted those. Both pieces prob from the 1880s.

Our former parish priest came over today for a birthday party. I talked at length with him on the Synod. He said he and many other priests he knows are prepared to resign if necessary. He said a formal schism will probably be declared, and many holy priests would rally together.
