On Friday five 10 year old kids from East Belfast will make history as the first players from the club to play in Croke park. Cara Haughey, Oisin McErlean, Rose Brown, Cullen Fitzpatrick & Niamh Keenan will take part in Down GAA activity day being held in Croke Park.
We are aware of videos circulating claiming to have been filmed at our recent dinner dance.
They weren’t.

As members will be aware, for reasons outside of the club’s control, in recent days the club has been the focus of attention for reasons other than sport.

Yesterday, Mohga, one of our Sudanese members, prepared some Arabic food for people to try if they wish! This food was made to celebrate the birth of Mohamed on the 18th Oct, so similar to Christmas here, with traditional sweets and treats!

We celebrated refugee week at our youth training this weekend by sharing traditional food, ceremonies and celebrations provided by our members from Sudan, Somalia, Syria and Iraq.
