Champions!! Our U16's Football Team secured an emphatic 6-2 victory against Kilwinning Academy in the Ayrshire Cup Final last night
The boys have made a little bit of history by becoming the first football team to win silverware for the Robert Burns Academy!
Liam T (S3 SLC) entered the National Galleries of Scotland art competition along with other pupils in the SLC and has won third prize in the ASN category. This is a huge achievement for him and for the department. We are so proud of him.
We are extremely proud of our pupils and staff who took part in the Great Scottish Run, organised by Mr Sheppard.
So far we have raised £1878 for Alzheimer Scotland, which is well over the initial target!

Pupils spent the final day in Barcelona city centre. We visited a number of landmarks alongside the Picasso museum. The day was finished off with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe!

A group of S3 pupils from Robert Burns Academy recently received an awareness session on bystander CPR and how to use a defibrillator. A team of volunteers from St John Scotland delivered the session to 40 pupils.
Winner of the Staff Virtual Bake Off is Mrs Noble who entered Pretzels that we felt had many difficult skills involved in the production. Great shape too! Certificates will be sent to winners and participants.
S1 have been learning about stop motion animation this week at school in Science and were then tasked to create their own stop motion animations at home. Look at this great animation by Evan Deans (1P1) 🤩🤩 Brilliant work Evan!
