Yesterday I asked the most famous russian oppositional political scientist this: "Why don't public Russians, including Ekaterina Shulman, speak out against racism and migrantophobia in Russia? Thank you."

Her answer: “Very simple answer to your question, and it's important to grasp it. Any questioning of an external object "why they/he/she/it doesn't" is meaningless because it essentially implies "why other people don't behave the way I would behave if I were them".

@DurdiyevaSelbi @MakichyanA He did ask why Russian opposition don’t condemn racism, don’t twist his words. Her answer was a nothing burger. But we knew t he answer, because opposition as racist and xenophobic as people in government. Or should I say people from government.
