Best Test I’ve ever witnessed! Well done
@benstokes38
and the team. Lucky to have this pic as the card was completely full straight after this photo. My lucky day.
The final wicket photo means this one of Ollie Pope catching Zahid Mahmood off Jimmy is just in the top nine pics today. Test cricket - you're the best!
@OPope32
@jimmy9
.... but then again this may be my favourite photo that I took today in Rawalpindi. Eleven England players in this pic of
@jimmy9
bowling late in the day to Mohammad Ali.

The Mirror site have used my photo of Shane, Jackson, Brooke and Summer the day Warney retired from Test cricket in 2007. Thought I’d post it. Thoughts with these guys. x

I know Joe Root can make a bat stand up by itself (Lord's) but Jamie Overton averages 97.00 in Test matches with the bat and carries it off the field by just one finger! WOW! That's true magic.

I’ve been caught out. Yes Mark, it was all photoshopped. Yesterday never happened. I got the size wrong on Ben Duckett and he’s not that small. I’ll be retiring from photography forthwith. I’m deeply ashamed of my actions and you’re a genius.

So the third Test is over.
Here's my photo of Tom Hartley being bowled by Ravichandran Ashwin at Rajkot. The ninth man out for England.

Bad day for cricket ... after Bob Willis trophy match at Bristol was called off due to positive Covid test now I hear Fashion Police are rushing to Southampton after
@jimmy9
turned up dressed as Barbie’s man Ken.
@BBCSport
Nice to see these two young lads who turned up nice and early before The Hundred game at the Ageas to have a bowl in the nets. Just the two of them on their own perfecting their skills. Well done boys. Keep it up.

Meera Salvi, (6 years old)who was hit by a Rohit Sharma six on the back is going to be fine. Here she is with her Dad Jignesh after the match.

There was some chat yesterday as to why I had only ten England players in the image of England’s winning moment in Rawalpindi. Here’s a wider version including Ollie Robinson on the left but it is obviously a better photo when cropped. Still buzzing after that epic Test match.
James Anderson of England caught by Devdutt Padikkal. (Yes, really, .. that's happening)
England all out 218 in their first innings.

What a great Test match. Was Stokes ..sorry, stoked to get this photo of these 2men together who have scored over 10,000 runs for England. Oh, by the way my book ‘The Colours of Cricket’ is still available @ numerous places including Amazon. 340 plus photos in it. Please retweet!
I've seen this many, many times before but it is usually in ASDA or Tesco when a Mum won't buy their child any smarties.

I did a project about Pakistan in primary school, at the time didn't know I'd spend four weeks there decades later and rate it the very best cricket tour I've ever been on. Pakistan - you truly rock!
Today's the anniversary of my photo book "The Colours of Cricket" being released. Forward written by the legend

Fourteen years since I took this shot of fab cricket 🏏 photographer 📸 Patrick Eagar at Lord’s. He gave up cricket photography to play golf more often and to photograph bees. 🐝 Lovely bloke… he sent me a bee photograph only the other day.

was hit in the forehead by a ricochet in the nets this arvo at the MCG. Huge blow. He was back within 3 minutes doing more throwdowns. 3 minutes! They breed em tough in the North-East. That's why England will win this tournament. Too much heart! Too much guts! Go well.
Really pleased to see that a photo I took at Lord's way back in 1993 has been used by the artist to paint a great tribute to Warnie on a large garage door in Melbourne. Top work.

Haven’t had a beer since 2009 but tonight waiting for the Ashes to start here in beautiful Brisbane this just felt right. Good luck to England over the next seven weeks.

A fantastic photograph of Rahkeem Cornwall, John Campbell & Shayne Moseley of West Indies after a dismissal in Dhaka. Great to see it being shared so much but poor form to say how great it is and not mention the photographer is Munir Uz zaman of AFP. Well done
@uz_munir
My 270th cricket Test match was definitely my most challenging. Got through it though and appreciate all the help I received. Thanks to the players, ECB, MCC and also colleagues.
Unbelievably sad news about Shane Warne. I’ve been photographing him from his Gatting ball (1993) right up to January this year, a few weeks ago. This photo was taken in Adelaide in December during the Ashes as he acknowledged cheering from spectators. A true one off.

I know England didn't have a great day at Edgbaston but surely the guy wearing a morph suit who thought he could drink his beer through fabric had the biggest shocker
I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the lovely comments and positive responses from people for my new book The Colours of Cricket. Thank you all so so much. It is of course available in bookshops & also online. Over 340 images from 32 years of cricket photography. Thank you
Just wanted to mention what fabulous and friendly people I’ve met and dealt on this very enjoyable trip to Pakistan. From hotel staff to drivers, police to groundsmen, all have been absolutely brilliant. Had some fun with the crowd in Multan at lunchtime today too.
When England's
@MAWood33
put his jumper on during the evening session here it really reminded me of a movie moment. Thanks to the super talented and great man
@henrymoeranBBC
for helping to create this.

Went to the same spot in the Oval Maidan as yesterday but was more aware of working with the shadows. Stood right next to the keeper.
Did I get hit by the ball?
Yes!
On right foot, near my groin & on the heart.
Fairly painful but in the end to me worth it.
Absolutely blown away by currently having the number 1 cricket book on a well known online company, number 1 sport photography book and being in the general list of top hundred books…. at No. 100.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Ollie Robinson celebrates with Will Jacks, Harry Brook, James Anderson and Ben Stokes after dismissing Mohammad Ali as England won the second Test between Pakistan and England by 26 runs at Multan Cricket Stadium on December 12, 2022.
