Before the 20th anniversary of #EU accession 🇪🇺 In #Slovenia , at an informal meeting of Heads of State of neighbouring countries, I made it clear that the Member States are the masters of the European Union's founding treaty, and therefore sovereignty cannot be transferred.

I was horrified by news coming from the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.  My sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Russian people. 🕯️ I wish speedy recovery to those injured in yesterday’s attack.
