Addiction doc here. No one should be banned from competing based on their use of cannabis. No one. Most cannabis use results in zero harm, and it is not performance enhancing. Drug testing is inexact. Let’s do away with these antiquated—and quite frankly, racist—policies. ✊🏻

Breaking: @US_FDA is done with its ban on gay men like me donating blood. I used to routinely donate blood (and once organized a campus-wide blood drive in college) but haven't been able to for years because of this discriminatory policy. Thrilled for this change.🌈
