This baby is so precious to me, the mother having hd serious bleeding since yesterday abt 5pm & hd no transport bt ws later helped by a boda boda to where I am, after quick assessment, we rushed her in for emergency c/s & both came out alive. Diagnosis of Abruptio Placentae.

Update: 15hrs after this tweet we managed to collect 3,133,519 million Ugx & Two Offers of wheel chairs, all this money shall be delivered to the family in Serere district plus a wheel chair, the other additional wheelchair shall be given to another child in need, Thank you all🙏

It takes a minimum of 30 years to train a Neurosurgeon, 25 yrs Peadiatrician, physician, surgeon and 22yrs for a general practitioner. All factors constant, I hope Uganda can start attaching some values to this 🙏, at least don't let them die due to lack of Oxygen 🙏

It’s ok. I actually had my son treated in India. He had a kidney transplant. I talk to him everyday and thank God for his life. Should I have waited for the technology and exhibition to be done in Uganda to have the transplant? It’s now 7yrs now.

Congratulation to the team at Masaka regional referral hospital (Dr Kalema Herbat, Dr Okello) who successfully delivered a baby who grew Intra-abdominal (outside the uterus) weighing 800g at 26 wks and now receiving care in the neonatal unit

Update: Little Innocent Rubangakene is coming back for the second surgery (removal of the metal on his legs) tomorrow @KumiOrthopaedic from Agago district, he has made great recovery over the last one month and says he wants to start playing football soon 😅, thank you all 🙏
