Peter Mandelson launches the war against The Green Party. The same man once said the working class could be disregarded by Labour because we had nowhere else to go. How wrong was he.

A reminder that today we are policing two protests - a march from Parliament Square to Hyde Park organised the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and a counter protest organised by Enough is Enough which is taking place in Pall Mall.

I joined Labour in 2009 to support Gordon Brown. At the time, The Blairite right were trying to remove him in a post EU Election coup. In 2010, I voted Ed Balls because I thought he would continue Brown’s legacy. Turns out Ed Miliband did with aplomb and so I threw my energies…

Rachel Reeves has been enthusiastic in the past about raising the age of retirement. She calls it fairness to the taxpayer as a result of increased longevity. The reality, of course, is that life expectancy has stalled to its lowest in a decade. Lower the age of retirement.

The Tory plan to freeze your GP out of your mental health assessments is an attack on workers’ rights. It’s a stick to beat our hard working teachers and nurses who are suffering stress and burnout.

How we treat the weakest is a glimpse into the inner soul of who we really are as people. People fleeing war, famine and disease deserve our unconditional love. Instead, the UK is a system that demonises them.

Global military expenditure was $2.4 trillion last year. War profiteering is very big business for a tiny number of greedy little men.

The MPs we want in Parliament are the ones who will stand up for ordinary people against the elite. The elite constitute Starmer & Sunak together with their coterie. About 80 MPs in the HoC already do stand up to the elite. They deserve your vote and to be re-elected in GE24.

“Fit to work” notes signed by your company’s chosen judge will mean sick people being forced to work or lose their job. Ultimately, it will cost the company more because of the disruption & upheaval it will cause in the workplace and hiring new workers.

The Cuban Missile Crisis was averted because the global powers realised that anything other meant their mutually assured destruction. The world has never been more interdependent. Iran & Israel need each other’s safety to ensure their own safety. And that is the same for us all.

We criticise the media when they get it wrong. For balance it is important to accept and arguably applaud the times they get it right. This is excellent.

Labour announcement on railways today is a panicked reaction to polling from two companies saying that they were not enthused by Starmer’s vision. Also with local elections so close, they needed some positive headlines.
