Dark Souls 3 was a special experience for me, as it came at a time when my mind was a fog of darkness; it was personal.
So I wrote about it.
Here’s a rare (and personal) deep dive into my brain, courtesy of
@SeasonedGaming
.
I hope you enjoy it.
📝
Redfall devs - “We hope they cancel the game when we’re bought, we don’t wanna make this.”
MSFT - “Guys, we have acquired this studio. First order of business - we’re going to cancel….”
Devs - “yes… yes… our wish is coming true!”
MSFT - “ .… The PlayStation version!”
Shogun’s pilot episode is incredible.
It’s smart, deep, and gorgeous, with a Game of Thrones-esque political vibe.
This is the type of rare cinematic experience reserved for epic movies, that only a few shows have been able to nail down.
Watch it.
Out of the megaton of Xbox stuff I have, this is the one I’m most proud of: a factory sealed, special edition Halo green console. Which I’ll probably never open 😂
Happy 20th, Xbox 💚
#Xbox20
I held off on The Witcher 3 for seven years because of my tendency to avoid LARGE open world games.
Elden Ring changed my approach and patience for these games.
And now? I’m obsessed with The Witcher 3. I *get* what I’ve been missing out on. And I’m only scratching the surface.
Lets normalize something, for the love of god:
There’s no such thing as “free on game pass.” If you subscribe, you pay.
It’s “included” in game pass, not “free” on game pass.
Back to your normally scheduled programming
It's very simple with Halo Infinite:
If you want to play the "complete" version, then wait three months (co-op)/six months (for forge.)
You don't HAVE to play it at launch lol. Campaign and multiplayer are done, according to the devs.
AND, it's on Game pass. No risk to you ☺️
This whole Forza Horizon 5 defense has really overshadowed the nomination of Psychonauts 2, a bonafide contender, and the first Xbox 1st party game to be nominated for GOTY since the show’s inception.
I don’t even see that being celebrated, Which is a god damn shame.
I once read how Souls games helped many get over depression/mental slumps.
I’ve only played ER from them.
So I started Dark Souls 3 a week ago; it ignited something inside that has been *missing.*
I look forward to documenting my experience (& experiment) upon completion
I paid a guy last month $5 to make a Steam Deck boot intro with my two SONS for me, under the condition he posts it for public use.
I’m never changing this. EVER
- The Last of Us Part 2, which also had a promised online MP with launch, was delayed.
- RDR2 Online was delayed
- GTA5 Online was delayed
A full, promised MP suite delayed in these three cases. Campaigns were DONE.
All successful games
I buy statues for characters or franchises that I really love and have an affinity to. Which better character to commemorate than Ezio Auditore da Firenze, one of my favorite characters of all time, and whom to this day IS the
#AssassinsCreed
franchise for me. 🍻
Do you guys rush through games or savor?
Took me 2 months to finish Elden Ring. 3 months for Witcher 3, 2 months for Cyberpunk. My time is limited as it is, so I just savor whatever I’m into, knowing I’m in for the long haul.
A “finish in a weekend” game is two weeks for me 😂
Dolby Atmos has had a one time license purchase fee on Xbox for SEVERAL years now; this is nothing new. Anyone complaining about it shows how out of touch you are with the brand you “support.” And there are great alternatives if you don’t want it. Sound doesn’t disappear
I’m curious why this guy gets so much hate online when all I see him do with his money is consistently making the world a slightly better place. Am I missing something here? Genuinely asking
Last night I started Blue Eye Samurai around 1 am. Ended up binging 3 straight episodes and lost track of time, and suddenly it’s 4 am.
I’ve read here from several people how good it is, but no - it’s incredible lol.
Like WOW
@gameinformer
@ProZD
Ratatoskr and his spirit companions were an awesome addition which provided light comedy in between missions; I’m happy they kept him
- Gamepass games: “I don’t like renting my games.”
- PlayStation free games: “these are old.”
I have a suggestion for you chronic, salty complainers:
Find a new hobby. Your misery, salt, & entitlement are a fart in the wind. I don’t think you lot play video games anyway
There are people out there who legitimately think that Ubisoft intentionally screwed up the PS5 version of Valhalla because of Xbox. Let that sink in 😂 This twisted sense of reality that exists in their heads needs to be further studied by examining their brains in a lab
This is humor based on today’s Schreier article. I don’t care which console you worship, learn to laugh. If you take this seriously, I promise you I don’t give a shit
If you own both the Series X and PS5, but you lean green, it’s honestly ok to be excited for Deathloop.
Really, guys. It’s ok. You can play it on release.
No one will question your “allegiance” lol
PC fanboys have become the CrossFit crowd of gaming.
We get it. Your games play & look better. Your experience is unparalleled. You have freedom. Your superiority will never be threatened. You will never be bottlenecked.
Consoles are beneath you, clearly.
Fuck do you want?
Since Quantum Error didn’t do so well critically, let me point you to another indie FPS also made by FOUR developers called Trepang2, which is an absolute blast.
Everyone has certain games they cherish since they were kids; mine are
#StreetsOfRage
. Since I was 10, I’ve beaten all three maybe 20x, and part 2, no joke, maybe 50x. That we’re getting
#StreetsOfRage4
more than 20 years later is still surreal to my boomer ass. Can’t wait, baby!
Halo Infinite defied my expectations, with 343i delivering a knockout, against the odds.
I had the privilege of reviewing the campaign for
@ConsoleCreature
, at the gracious request of
@bpashalidis
for this guest piece.
Please enjoy💚

I finally installed the SSD I bought for my PS5 last night, and I can’t tell you how agonizing those 5 minutes were. My wrists are still in pain, I’m vomiting everywhere, and I had nightmares last night in my sleep.
Fuck you, Series S
@MegamattX86
I have friends who scrambled to get a PS5 and Series X, only to continue playing warzone 😂 Like play what you want, but you didn’t need the stress of buying new consoles to play the same shit 😂
Nintendo won’t give us a 60 fps BOTW?
Guess the Steam Deck can make it happen 😂
(Some slowdown here & there, it was the initial launch so it’s loading the shader cache as it goes.)
And yes, I own the game. Piss off with the virtue signaling
I would never tell anyone how to spend their money, because lord knows I’m the last person to do so 😂
But if you’re gonna drop $1200+ on a 27” monitor for your PS5 instead of an OLED TV… please reconsider your choice 😂
Seeing children cry when they see a gift they really wanted hits, man.
You never know anyone’s background, upbringing, or financial situation, but these kinds of responses reflect not taking things for granted, a rarity.
Merry Christmas, little man. And to anyone who celebrates
I’m gonna double down on my love for
