It’s easy to get lost in the trade news, but don’t sleep on Toumani Camara joining Portland. Along with solid rebounding and good forward skills, Camara has a nice stat profile and enters POR when they need forward depth. Underrated winner of today 📈

Bilal Coulibaly is coming along so fast that it’s making my head spin. He’s already at 14 PTS, 5 REB, 1 STL, 1 BLK and 2 3s with 7 min left in the 3rd and this is his 6th straight game of 10+ PTS. Just absurd potential. It’s exciting to think of where he’ll be in a few years.

@TheTyJager Really liked what I saw defensively, he’s got some real tools at his disposal. He’s still got a ways to go but I expect to see him clean up the fouls and expand the offense. Great toolkit for him to be something and love that SA gave him a guaranteed contract.

I haven’t seen enough people mentioning Toumani Camara’s priority in Portland’s rotation through the first few games. Subbed early into POR-LAC and had 15 min, then played 22 in POR-ORL. Played over Jabari Walker/Kris Murray in both and played more than Timelord tonight. 📈📈📈

It’s an obvious observation but needs to be said: Bilal Coulibaly has grown so much already this season, even from now to his 1st game. Him even a calendar year ago to now is wild to see. He’s got really special potential. I’m loving every second he’s playing and improving.

Roster cut deadlines in dynasty are always exercises in futility (especially deep leagues). No matter how much you try to trade off the end of bench pieces or roster cloggers too valuable to cut or consolidate, you’ll eventually have to cut decent stuff.

Lot of hype for Obi Toppin, but can he secure the starting PF spot over Jarace Walker? I’m not 100% sure yet, but it’s clear they’ll both be playing a lot. Obi is a beast in transition, and the Pacers are very fast break heavy. My starting prediction: ~13-14 PPG, ~6-7 REB, 2 AST

Woke up today thinking about Kobe Brown’s electric 35-point game in Summer League. Still not sure if LAC makes moves before the season opens, but I’m still very high on him for dynasty. He’s going to be a very good player who can handle a legit role.

Interesting Spurs fact: Malaki Branham (613) has only scored one less point than Jeremy Sochan (614) this season, despite 25 less starts. The future’s real bright in San Antonio. Really love both and believe in them long-term. 📈📈📈

Is it a reach to say Coby White might have one of the best contracts in the NBA now? It has to be the best since Jalen Brunson’s, surely. Since 11/30: 26.1 PTS | 6.1 REB | 6.7 AST | 0.9 AST 1.9 TOV | 49.6% FG | 50.7% 3PT (5 3PTM!) | 78.8% FT Insanity. My frontrunner for MIP.

Love this for Porter. He’s been playing so well in a rising role where he looks comfortable and is getting better. Not only does is he part of Cleveland present, but he’s making a legit case for the long-term future. He’s easily in the 23 class’s top 15 rookies at the moment.

Lots of thoughts from LAL-GSW, but Trayce Jackson-Davis is one player that needs to be highlighted. Thought his motor, defensive presence and BBIQ looked excellent (1 REB, 1 AST, 2 BLK, 2 STL). Hoping to see him get involved often this season for GSW.

It’s so crazy to me that Minnesota got two insane steals in both Josh Minott and Leonard Miller and they’re still both under 21 playing as well as they have. So excited for both of them to earn regular roles. Their potential individually and together in rotations is absurd.

Small takeaway from the big game Ja had, but Vince Williams Jr. has really impressed me with his recent play, and he looked even better next to Ja tonight. Big rebounding, high energy on both sides, hit some nice shots and played solid defense. He’s really earned his spot.

Don’t think I’m telling people anything they don’t already know, but… Scoot Henderson will be fine. Rookie PGs often take time and it’s a rebuild. Hold tight in dynasty, try to buy low if possible. He’s almost a drop for shallow redraft though.
