Apart from your own smartphone where you can enrol into #DigiYatra , there are clearly designated checkpoints at airports, with proper signage, for your ID & travel document validation, with face biometric.

The same has been an integral part of our App from it's launch date. Every action is initiated by the passenger.

@DheerajSanghi Please do cross check it. At KIA Bengaluru all lanes are Digi Yatra 'Capable' but based on current DY adoption levels, the airport enables limited lanes for DY App users, other lanes operate manually. Most likely no long queues on DY face biometric lanes The gates look the same!

We all share our ID card copy, (And/or) passport size photo to PRIVATE banks, telecom cos, loan agencies, online shopping apps, Hotels, IT parks, SEZs etc. But you do not share anything with Digi Yatra Foundation, we do not store any of your PII data.

@suneel_r @ghoshnotgosh @tncvidya @PriyankaPulla @BLRAirport #DigiYatra app based enrollment is long-term & helps you go through the airport processes in a seamless manner. 'Day of travel' enrollment at airport kiosks is only for that travel and cannot be reused since all the PII data is purged within 24 hrs of Departure of the flight.
