TPD Piper, who is still in training, was out for a sunny afternoon stroll when she dragged her handler towards the bushes and shoved her nose right up against an item. Handler soon realised it was a foot and half long machete, which is potentially linked to a serious incident!

Male wanted for possession of an firearm and threats to kill sighted carrying a knife in Derby. Located by handler hiding in a nearby garden & becomes non compliant and attempts to escape. PD Zane deployed to subdue the male which does the trick and he is subsequently arrested.

As a pup Enzo was looked after by a family in South Yorkshire. Such was this loving bond between them that as his Dad became seriously ill Enzo was by his side his constant companion and was with him when sadly he passed away. Best friends free together over the rainbow forever.

PD Nando. He retired with his Handler Pc Paul Seymour and moved to live a happy life in South Wales. Nando served with Derbyshire Police and was Paul’s best friend, crew mate and a top thief taker as well as trials champion in 2011. Nando sadly passed away on Tuesday. #topdog

Kaiser was put to sleep on 12th May 2021 following a very sudden illness, he was nearly 9 years old. Kaiser was brave and stoic right to the end, as he was throughout his life and career. Kaiser was a serving Police Dog in Derbyshire for 4 years before he had to retire early..
