Why you can feel disheartened by the denial of some Irish people that racism exists. The kind of outlandish rebuttals that try to erase your experience of racism as a black person as being valid. This is more common than you think.
Although I’ve been a part of Irish theatre and will always want to be, I’ve always felt that it wasn’t necessarily my home ever.

Now that we’re finally talking about it, let's get into it. Some facts and figures, some observations, and some resources for those who would like to know more:
1/ The first reported deportation of the Irish state was in 1925 to a “black prince.”
Wrote a song on guitar and just spent 2 hours playing it over and over, trying to figure it out. Now trying to figure out if I’ve been wasting time or just enjoying myself haha
