@MPLNetwork Double Dash is still peak because: Multiplayer battles were way better in this title, the character switch mechanic, and more fun for new players. Mario Kart 8 has the best track selection of any game, but the mechanics of Double Dash made your kart feel faster and just more fun

@zerjth It’s a mix of Cloud and Zack’s memories. They made it pretty clear which parts are Clouds and which parts are Zack. For example the beginning of the game you see Zack ask Cloud if he’s alright but he’s carsick. You can even see Cloud’s hair in the helmet. But as soon as Zack says

@ActuallyCloud Tifa and Zack actually do not get along, she even tells Zack she hates him in Crisis Core. In Rebirth, you can see them butting heads over different viewpoints on mako and the planets energy.

Strongly recommend adding the lumen exposure manager (found in the Fortnite folder) to all your UEFN maps. I learned the hard way during a @FNCreativeHQ playtest that without lumen my map was almost unplayable due to low visibility. #randomtip #UEFN #gamedev

Putting the finishing touches on my new map! Super Dodgeball makes use of the new Input Trigger so players can effortlessly block incoming attacks. I've also implemented a jailbreak mechanic so that players are never on the sidelines long. Code soon! #UEFN #CreatedinFortnite

@CrimsonDiabl0 #Spoilers Aerith at least in the OG never met the real Cloud while alive because Cloud is in SOLDIER persona the entire time he is with Aerith. She’s aware that the real Cloud exists, and is trying to find him. Tifa knew the real Cloud which was Cloud up until when she met him

@StrawderryST @artbysissiii Everything we’ve been saying is coming true. Demo confirmed Cloud has Zack (and maybe Sephiroth memories) since Cloud never went to Shinra manor until he was captured. Not to mention the game literally throws you from Zack’s body into Cloud’s when his mom dies.

@sory07281582 I think due to shipping wars people have greatly misunderstood Tifa’s line. At this point in the story, Aerith had been dead for 2 years. She wasn’t coming back to life. Cloud clearly was not in a healthy place mentally and was stuck feeling guilty and dwelling on the past. Sure

So far, all of my Fortnite maps have focused on combat or gameplay. But when I think about the games I love, I’m reminded more and more that my favorite thing is stories, and the way games can make a powerful emotional impact. I think it’s time to switch things up.

@JoceyLockhart In my opinion 16 started really strong and interesting and then fizzled into a generic FF game towards the end. I might be in the minority but I feel like the main villain of FFXVI should have been Barnabas and they should have given him more story. Ultima to me was very boring
