Earth is such an incredibly violent planet — especially with 8 billion human chimps treating trillions nonhuman sentient beings as commodities — that I can’t comprehend it in the same way I can’t truly comprehend the number 1,000,000,000,000,000,000.
There it is, fellow vegans!
Behold! The Fang!
The Canine!
The evolutionary evidence (along with the claws) proving that humans are big, fast, tough predators instead of small, slow, soft, fangless, clawless, plant-and-potato-chewing apes.

HUMAN (n): a species of African ape, closely related to the chimpanzee, known primarily for its arrogance, violence, aggression, and unnecessarily breeding, enslaving, torturing and/or killing hundreds of billions of innocent sentient beings annually.
When I became vegan in 2003, I was so deluded about human psychology.
I projected an independent-minded, moral psychology onto at least some family and friends, thinking that some of them just needed info and would become vegan. With the exception of my wife, I was wrong.
What does it tell us about human nature that vegans are categorically and routinely trolled, ridiculed, hated, and ignored by the vast majority of other humans for standing up against the most extreme and extensive tyranny and unnecessary aggression and violence in history?
In my 20+ years of experience doing vegan advocacy, I have concluded that > 90% of humans are extremely self-obsessed, amoral, and nasty and will only do the right thing if they’re constrained by the leash of sufficient social, legal, or religious pressure.
Should vets support animal rights?
- fundamental rights = rights against suffering and killing
- limited rights = eg rights to be provided welfare needs, or right to a life worth living
Is Christmas about peace on Earth, salvation, and joy to the world?

My wife & I have been thriving as vegans for over 20 years because we’ve done it correctly.
In 2003, I bought & read a book on vegan nutrition written by two professional dietitians & followed the advice. We have continued to keep up on developments in vegan nutrition. 1/3
I hope there are UFOs, and that the aliens will be here soon, be shocked and disgusted by how humans treat other sentient beings, and force nonvegans to reject speciesism, be vegan, and end the perpetual atrocity.
If that doesn’t happen, this would be second best. 😃😂
I am friends with and admire many hard-core UFO skeptics, and we should all be grateful to them for asking hard questions.
But denying the testimony of these high-security clearance individuals appears to stem from fear of the implications of UFOs, not critical thinking.
As of today, my wife and I have been thriving as vegans for 21 years. 💪🏼💚😎🎉
Vegan anniversaries are incomparably more important to me than birthdays or any other anniversaries.
With almost no exceptions, vegans are far superior to nonvegans. That’s true even of the vegans on my block list.
Not sorry, nonvegans. Do better if you don’t like that fun fact. It’s your choice to be inferior.
Comments on this post are restricted to superior humans. 🌱😎
We didn’t consent to be conceived, or to be born, or to exist.
The most fundamental right to autonomy is the right to exit peacefully and relatively risk-free.
It is only medieval religious bullshit that would insist on a violent and risky method to exercise this right.
As of today, my wife and I have been thriving as vegans for 20 years. 💪🏼💚😎🎉
Vegan anniversaries are incomparably more important to me than birthdays or any other anniversaries.
I’ve noticed that anti-vegans love to use indigenous humans, who make up < 5% of the world’s population, as pawns to falsely criticize vegans and excuse their own bigotry and moral indifference toward the most tormented and tortured innocents on Earth. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Nonvegans should just admit the obvious instead of coming up with asinine claims about deaths in crop production, the environment, health, and harming vegetables.
It’s depraved and morally inconsistent enough not to care. Adding dishonesty to that vice is just more depravity.
Within a year after I became vegan in 2003, my sister asked me in front of several family members, “Don’t you miss cheeseburgers and steaks?”
I said “No. When I see that stuff, I see an innocent animal who didn’t want to die.”
She put up her hand and said “OK, enough.”
🥴
The vast majority of humans are socially conforming psychopaths.
I mean that literally. Social conformity is the only thing that matters to them. Morality is irrelevant to them.
This is a *relatively* trivial example. (There’s nothing trivial about boiling innocents alive.)
The bull’s look says, “What the fuck is wrong with you, psycho?”
This photo is a microcosm of the ubiquitous psychopathy, greed, narcissism, bigotry, ignorance, cruelty and violence of nonvegans toward our fellow animals.
It is sick, cowardly, and repugnant.

Anti-vegans often say a predominantly vegan society or world will “never happen.”
But the fact that they spend as much time battling veganism on Twitter as vegan advocates do promoting veganism suggests that they believe it might happen.
Actions speak louder than words.
Only in Psychopath World would ridiculing others’ deep sadness at the unnecessary and horrifying experiences of beings as innocent as children be considered acceptable.
What a sick, deplorable account “Clown World” is. 😞🤦🏼♂️
An anti-vegan criticizing vegans for crop deaths is like a mass murderer criticizing the emergency room physicians for failing to save all the mass murderer’s victims in triage. The hypocrisy is off the charts. 🤡🥴
Being vegan is accessible to everyone in the developed world in 2023. Where there’s a will there’s a way.
If someone wants to be vegan, they’ll find a way. 💪🏼
If someone doesn’t want to be vegan, they’ll find an excuse. 🙄
I avoid eating with nonvegans as far as practicable. My family and work colleagues know it’s because I oppose the unnecessary use of nonhuman persons.
In the rare occasions when I do attend an event where they’re eating, this is figuratively what I see.
If a combine can clear this big guy, it can certainly clear a field mouse, even if the implement was lower.
Some deaths probably happen in tilling, but crop deaths are grossly exaggerated by antivegans.
Antivegans lie about almost everything else, why not lie about crop deaths?
It’s been a while since I have provided information on my profile picture, so here it is.
Al-Ma’arri was an Arab philosopher, poet, writer and antinatalist vegan (😎) who lived from December 973 to May 1057.
He is an inspiration.
It’s actually the opposite. My wife and I have been thriving without flesh or bodily fluids for 20 years. No need to harm innocents.
Plant power. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🍎🫐🍓🥑🥦🥬🌽🫑🌶️🥕🧅🧄🥖
Vegans have known all along that recent crop death claims have ranged from exaggerated to ludicrous.
This farmer is correct that blatantly false claims ultimately harm the side that makes them (vegan or nonvegan in this case).
The truth eventually triumphs over myths and lies.
I occasionally question whether I should continue spending time on antispeciesist and vegan advocacy. It’s like spitting on a raging wildfire in a feeble attempt to control it.
The overwhelming majority of humans are socially conforming psychopaths and moral imbeciles.
Slaveholder in 1823: “Owners will never give up their slaves.”

We’re not on the same page.
The average nonvegan kills 100 times more animals than a vegan, and 5 to 10 times more crop deaths occur now than in a vegan world.
Also, bovines eat mostly harvested grass, not pasture grass, so more crop deaths are caused by grazing bovines.

Why is rejecting speciesism and being vegan controversial? The same reason that human slavery was controversial in America in 1823.
What passes for morality is really social conformity. Genuine moral concern is rare among humans; therefore, controversial.
Hot take: People are too comfortable mocking vegans.
Modern day factory farming practices are super inhumane and terrible for the environment, and if you're able, cutting down your consumption (even a bit! not entirely!) makes a big difference.
Why is that controversial?
After a few years of vegan advocacy, human slavery and genocide made far more sense to me. I realized that what passes for “morality” is nothing more than self-interested social conformity.
In the case of nonhuman animals, it’s socially conforming, prejudiced psychopathy.
Plant based dieters, usually falsely self-described as “vegans,” are speciesist and fickle, no different than any other fad dieters.
By contrast, vegans are motivated by genuine concern for innocents’ wellbeing.
Yes, even crabs are sentient beings who like to have enjoyable experiences. They are subjects of lives, lives that can go better or worse for them.

Many people (including many vegans) have a misconception that nature is good.
Nature is not good. Nature is a hell of predation, starvation, injury and disease without cures or pain relievers. If nature was a moral agent, it would be an utterly indifferent psychopath.
I’ve only knowingly influenced about 3 nonvegans to become vegan in 20 years of advocacy. I’m an abject failure at vegan advocacy with plenty of evidence to prove it.
But even 100% ineffective advocacy is somewhat therapeutic while living among fucking savages.
I’m well-adjusted to my life, but not at all to the society I live in, which is a dystopian nightmare of extreme and unnecessary torture and violence toward hundreds of billions of beings annually who are no different than humans in their morally relevant traits.

Some vegans claim that we should be nicer to nonvegans because we were once like them, too.
But it’s more complicated than that. There are huge variations between nonvegans, ranging from 1) anti-vegan trolls to 2) passive-aggressive nonvegans to 3) ignorant, but honest and 1/5
Clown World has so many bad takes that it’s difficult to determine whether its purpose is to 1) provide a clown community for its clownish followers or 2) point out clownish behavior in others.
Here’s an example of 1). What’s “clownish” about the benefits in Moby list? 🤷🏼♂️
The animal holocaust dwarfs not only the Jewish Holocaust, but all genocides in human history combined. Only extreme speciesist indoctrination and human supremacist bigotry would cause anyone to think otherwise.
Unfortunately, such human supremacist bigotry is almost universal.
Here’s a pic of pre-vegan me at a New Year’s Eve party in my mid-20s.
I was indoctrinated into extreme speciesism back then, but all I needed to overcome it was information. It would have never occurred to me to debate a vegan. I would have asked questions, listened & learned.
Humans are special — very, very special.
God’s favorite planet has been here for about 4.5 billion years, or about 60,000 times longer than God’s favorite ape (the modern human).
But humans are the reason the universe was created. That makes me feel good. 😎
A broken cow who was milked like a machine over years, whose babies were stolen from her, who will be brutally murdered.
Life just happened to her, like a horrific accident. She committed no crime. She’s perfectly innocent.

I’m tired of nonvegans & milquetoast “vegans” tone policing me.
It’s not your ass in a CAFO or in line on the kill floor, so stfu. You’re afraid strong arguments and telling the truth don’t work? You’re wrong. It works much better than the weak sauce served up by weegans.
Veganism and animal rights aren’t morally debatable. They only appear to be debatable in our culture because of the extreme and blind prejudice and bigotry of speciesism, especially human supremacism.
This is among the reasons I refuse to debate bigots for more than two tweets.
Being convicted of criminal conspiracy and trespassing to save severely injured and sick innocents and expose criminal abuses is evidence that the institution itself is criminal.
This speciesism is no different than the racism of the “justice system” in antebellum America.
JAILED! We are outraged that animal rescuer Wayne Hsiung was cuffed and taken into custody after being convicted of felony conspiracy and two counts of misdemeanor trespass for helping animals facing criminal abuse. He has a sentencing hearing set for November 30th. He will be in
The overwhelming majority of humans who “care” about marginalized humans wouldn’t care about the marginalized if their social group didn’t care.
What separates vegans from the overwhelmingly majority is that vegans care enough to reject social conformity to a perpetual atrocity.
It seems that at least 95% of vegan advocacy consists in defeating the same 20 to 30 asinine objections over and over.
Maybe after defeating the objections 10^42 (a tredecillion) times, nonvegans will finally understand that there are no reasonable objections to veganism.
I’ve somewhat frequently over the years been advised or scolded by nonvegans and self-identified vegans to tone down my advocacy.
I will never tone it down. Pushback against advocacy for moral progress is inevitable, and an indicator that your advocacy is effective.
To everyone who believes that atrocities committed against our fellow animals are “justified” or “lesser atrocities” because the victims aren’t human, imagine that upon your death, you’re reborn repeatedly as the victims of the atrocities you blithely ignore in your arrogance.
Even if one is REALLY BAD at math, common sense tells us that growing food for 8 billion humans PLUS 80 billion nonhuman animals annually means far more crops are grown than if only 8 billion humans existed. 1/2

HEY VEGANS! When HUMANS are killed in vehicle accidents, do we call the victims ROADKILL?
NO, because it implies that their lives were worth absolutely nothing.
So why call nonhuman fatalities “roadkill”?
Some words are extremely speciesist. “Roadkill” is an example.
Why do pronouns matter for nonhuman beings?
As long as humans think of sentient nonhumans as things, sentient nonhumans will be treated like things, like dirt, like trash, like renewable resources, like they currently are treated.

On a very serious note, vegans at the very least need to include milk and dairy products.

I often avoid writing for vegan products as a copywriter.
I have seen what it does to people
Blake’s claim below is almost always true in my experience.
It doesn’t matter how reputable or reliable or numerous your sources are, they’ll deny them.
This is among the reasons I block trolls. It doesn’t make sense to debate willfully stupid anti-vegans.
Being anti-vegan, having a flippant attitude toward veganism or vegans, being obstinate or willfully stupid when encountering vegan advocates.
If you’re like this, you’re on the same level as child traffickers, exploiters, and abusers. Yes, many humans are on this level. 😕
Not only is the animal holocaust a holocaust, it’s a MEGA-holocaust of unimaginable proportions that make all genocides and wars in history look TRIVIAL.
But speciesist bigotry makes nonvegans blind to it
I don’t have to imagine it. I live it.
I’d much rather be considered “nutso” by moral imbeciles for rejecting speciesism than lose all self-respect by conforming to cultural psychopathy.
Unfortunately, most nonvegans get their self-respect almost entirely from social approval
When I ask nonvegans who make excuses for not being vegan (poor, food desert, health restrictions, etc) whether it’s a moral obligation for *me* to be vegan, they say no.
This reveals the underlying reason they’re not vegan. It’s not their excuse. It’s their human supremacism.
Judging by my last two tweets, it’s apparently taboo among vegans to compare the innocence of children with the innocence of the equally young and innocent of our fellow animals.
We’re centuries away from widespread veganism, if it’s not a permanently lost cause anyway. 😞
The most obvious lesson I’ve learned from adult life and 20 years of vegan advocacy is that social, legal, & religious pressure — NOT moral concern — keeps ~ 99% of humans in line.
Only ~ 1% are genuinely motivated by moral concern.
Unsurprisingly, vegans < 1% of population.
Where exactly to draw the line on personhood when it comes to insects and some other non-vertebrates is a difficult question with not enough facts, but there’s no question that the overwhelming majority of “animals” nonvegans exploit are full persons deserving of basic rights.
Wow. I’d be humiliated to be a reader of The Guardian with this laughable insult to intelligence. 🤡😂
Really? They don’t understand that suppliers would simply stop breeding the “farm” animals? 🤡🤦🏼♂️🤪
Specifically, it would be nice to know a lot more about moral imbecility, both a severe lack of empathy (psychopathy), bigotry, & extreme moral irrationality and hypocrisy.
Why are humans, without comparison, the most unnecessarily violent & aggressive species on the planet?
“Plants are sentient” is even MORE ridiculous than “Earth is flat.”
The reasonable comparison to our fellow animals is not plants, which are insentient objects, but children, who are sentient and innocent. What you support doing to animals, you might as well do to children.
It’s tragicomic that nonvegans, especially anti-vegans, hate the idea of being just, nonaggressive, and leaving innocents alone.
It’s indicative of moral rot that advocating for justice, kindness, and nonaggression toward innocents is met with hostility.
It’s terribly disrespectful to our fellow animals to compare them to humans.
If you call me an “animal,” I’ll consider it a compliment.
No species is as greedy, narcissistic, sensitive, tribal, arrogant, petty, aggressive, cruel, or violent, as humans.
Chimpanzees are genetically closer to humans than they are to gorillas or orangutans.
A large majority of re$$$earch on nonhuman people is done for money, not knowledge. It’$ mostly bad $cience that doesn’t tran$late well to humans.
And even when it does translate, it’s wrong.
This 28-year-old chimp was in absolute awe when she went outside and saw the sky for the first time ever. She had survived a research lab in New York, where animals were kept in small cages.
Nonveganism is the biggest, most violent, death CULT in history and its dogma is speciesism.
No matter how well it’s spelled out for them that speciesism is exactly like every other prejudice, they will dogmatically and irrationally revert back to speciesism.
Two questions to ask so-called “ex-vegans”:
1) Did you avoid animal use in ALL aspects of your life (vegan), or were you just on a plant diet (not vegan)?
2) What *specific nutrients* do you think you were missing?
These questions will extract the bullshit in almost all cases.
Gotta love science-phobic appeals to nature.
Anti-vegans are fine with modern medicine and tech gadgets, but when it comes to nutrition science and supplements that get in the way of breeding, torturing and killing innocent nonhumans, it’s back to the Stone Age.
A perpetual holocaust of our fellow animals is not a morally acceptable way to support an economy or make a living in 2023 when we know humans thrive on 100% plant-sourced diets.
Nonveganism is a moral cancer, except that it’s easy for individuals to avoid it by being

Anti-vegans (not to be confused with nonvegans) are bad people, no exceptions.
It doesn’t mean they’re *necessarily* incorrigible or irredeemable — some even become vegans — but you have to be a real degenerate to argue for needlessly harming innocents.
So many nonvegans have so many incorrect beliefs about vegans and veganism.
Vegans are from all walks of life and political views with one thing in common: we believe in leaving sentient nonhuman beings alone and not harming them as much as is reasonably possible. That’s all.
I’m amazed that anyone is ignorant enough to believe “regenerative ranching (or grazing)” 1) avoids growing, irrigating, and harvesting massive quantities of grass for several months of bovine food; 2) is scalable to human populations over a million, much less tens of millions.
I am always amazed when I hear climate activists, politicians and health experts preach the virtues and benefits of plant based diets. A global plant based diet can only be achieved with acres and acres of mono-culture crops laced with pesticides and herbicides. Mono-cropping
Our fellow animals — at least those exploited by the tens of billions ANNUALLY — are as innocent and sensitive as children.
This makes the Gaza war & every war & atrocity in history, combined, look morally trivial in comparison with human supremacism & its results.

The most difficult part of being a vegan advocate is being regularly exposed to horrific violence against beings as innocent as children.
2nd is being regularly exposed to the most abject human depravity.
3rd is being exposed to such extreme human stupidity via replies.
At least some anti-vegans believe that being vegan lowers one’s standard of life.
My standard of life is far better as a 20-year vegan due to much better physical health, and much better psychological health, due to the self-respect I have for choosing the right way to live.
