Why we love sports!! If you aren’t aware, this you lady’s father was the head coach of the Gretna Dragons…he passed away after a lengthy cancer battle in December….the boys had her make the final cuts to the net as Gretna advanced to the state tournament!

I’d venture to guess most teachers don’t feel this way. Maybe in some school districts. Not my friends Fact is most teachers believe this makes educators as a whole look bad. Schools have done a ton to keep us safe. It’s shown that kids perform better when in class learning.

Not happy with last night. No practice, as a day off was good for them. A senior asked to come in and shoot. Then her teammates said they’d like to too. 7 girls got lots of shots up in a couple hours. Good stress reliever, just shooting and talking. Back to work tomorrow!

Nebraska is just different....There’s football on, and my timeline’s full of guys tweeting about CU vs NU volleyball. A special place, & lots of girls are lucky to grow up in one of the 3 best states in the nation for volleyball...never take that for granted. #VolleyballStateToo

The outcome isn’t what we’d hoped, but I lived out a dream by watching the @HuskerMBB play an NCAA Tournament! Mom loved every minute of it. First 10 minutes was insane, so many Husker fans in Memphis! This was just the start for the guys, the building continues! #GBR Forever!

These kids did an amazing job! The Clippers came in 4th place in the Class A State Play Production! So proud of them. Also proud we all made it home safe, as that drive was a bit suspect at times. Way to go Clippers!

It’s great to have high school hoops back! Feels much better knowing our kids get to play next week. Love switching between games on ⁦ @strivsports ⁩! Finding those games on YouTube is tougher.

Nailed it! There are like 7 states who have fall and winter seasons that have concluded close to normal. @nsaahome has been amazing at looking out for kids!

Take a moment today if you're enjoying Day 1 of State Wrestling. The state of Nebraska will have pulled off basketball, football and now wrestling. That's extremely rare relative to the rest of the country. We're in good hands with @nsaahome and the people in our state.

@NBSaphierMD It's not just private or charter schools....In places like Nebraska, Iowa, the Dakotas, and others too....the public schools (in all but the largest districts) have been open all year like they should have been!
