Meaty QCB+LP after QCB+HP is very strong (+14 on block). She can easily walk up throw/meaty/etc. Bonus combo after that leads into meaty QCB+LP again. - The enemy tumbles after D+PP, P ender (It's +84 KDA!) so you can link Level 1/2/3/CA after for a kill combo #SF6_AKI

Manon's Level 5 Command Throw does 3700 damage... For reference, Level 3 Supers in SF6 generally do 4000 damage. A meterless command throw doing almost as much as a Level 3 Super is kind of nuts.

The NYC online warrior in SFV Season 1. We told him to start coming to NLBC. He started winning multiple NLBCs. We told him to start traveling to majors. This year, he made Top 8 winners at Evo. Now, he is in Grand Finals of Capcom Cup 2019. @iDomNYC

I do not understand how SFV players get salty about being uploaded. And why people cover the names of the people they play when they upload. CFN is designed with uploading in mind. It’s not that big of a deal. Curb your fragile ego and keep playing.

Any fighting game player can copy offensive/setplay sequences. The best fighting game players I know are the ones who have perfected their defense. It is the hardest skill to develop in FGs and it requires so much knowledge and situational awareness. Always practice defense.

General SF6 Tip: Almost all of the top players in SF6 have been using exclusively LP DP to antiair/crosscut. Why is that? - All DP strengths in SF6 have frame 1 invuln to air attacks - LP DP is generally the fastest - LP DP doesn't go as far forward (less chance to whiff)

BTW the Japanese post specified that the input has to be neutral or forward + MP + MK. Thank god… otherwise charge characters would’ve been insane.

It is very uncomfortable when I go into someone's stream and they're on a toxic rant about the game/person they're playing. I don't mind if the player has some salty quips about stuff that has happened but if they spend the entire stream being negative and whiny, I'm gone.

Jamie vs Blanka MU: Jamie's crMP is the best answer vs Blanka Ball. You can DP them on reaction too but that gets baited by LP Ball. - Dash x2 after DP+HK is +2 instead of +1 - The crMP will PC LP Blanka Ball as well (Usually grounded) #SF6_Jamie

General Jamie tip: Jamie's bHP can be used just like Luke's bHP (not as rewarding as Luke's on PC) as a shimmy tool but also to beat out obvious block strings (e.g. Juri's DR sMP, sMP, crMP blockstring). Bonus microwalk DR conversion. #SF6_Jamie

Jamie vs Honda MU: You cannot safe jump OD Headbutt with jHP after a +42 knockdown. However, if you use jLP/jLK instead, you can safe jump Honda safely and loop it. Punish him hard if you bait the OD Headbutt. #SF6_Jamie

RE: fighting game patch cycles, I’m not a fan of incredibly frequent patches (T8) and I’m also not a fan of one patch/year (SF6). I feel like the sweet spot is every 3-4 months. For SF6, I feel like the Ranked Phases are great spots to implement balance changes. Thoughts?

Most characters in SF6 have a 23F backdash. The exceptions are the following: 24F backdash: Lily 25F backdash: Chun Li, Marisa, Manon, Gief This is pretty important for throw loop defense 👀

SF6 Ranked is probably the best ranked system I’ve played for a fighting game. MR matchmaking really makes every match so sweaty and stressful, which IMO makes us all play a lot better. Also, Punk almost has 4 characters at 2K+ MR, which is just an incredible feat.

What happened to players figuring out MUs and strategy plans? Why do players immediately run to asking for buffs/nerfs 1 week after release? Pretty sick of the constant scrub mentality I’m reading on a day to day basis.

Improving on this because the quoted combo only works if the DI is not blocked. On blocked DI, you can do sHP xx (Charged) QCF+LK, DP+HP. Whiff crHP to be +3 for meaty/throw (You can slight walk back to shimmy throws). #SF6_ED
