@CyberSnark I'm literally about to 2x my income at a new job. FB is trying to get me into a slightly used Lambo but the family CFO (my wife) says it just means we don't have to stress bills (mostly medical) and will actually get to save for retirement.

@CyberSnark it's weird to reinterpret class as a form of numberchasing, it's better understood as a relation to capital

@CyberSnark Imagine working 30+years saving up for retirement and when retirement hits, you could barely afford to stay afloat because of inflation. This is my biggest worried in "saving" for retirement.
