Tonight my dad called to tell me he was proud, nearly in tears, because a simple blog I wrote was re-published in Forbes. When my name was in Science Magazine it didn’t resonate for him or others. Bottom line, we need to connect big ideas with regular. people.

Learning how to communicate is the hardest most important challenge. I often say we speak tech and we need to learn to speak human. Good for you. This is next level stuff.

This is so true. I think one of the biggest things that this industry needs to do is build risk awareness in people of all ages, starting as early as possible in a way that enables. That doesn’t create paralysis from fear, uncertainty and doubt. I bet your dad was proud then too

I realize they aren’t the intended audience for SMEs but I think too many professionals enjoy a reality far removed from the real world 😬

@ScienceMagazine
and Chemical and Engineering News along with Time, Newsweek, National Geographic, and the Sunday NYTimes.
