Fantastic night for the club and town of Berwick. Players were fantastic getting us through. Hospitality was full, crowd of 625 was excellent for a Monday night. The young supporters and Junior players in their strips were the stars, brilliant from all. Bring on Stirling A.

9 of the 21 Royal Ascot winners had their previous run on an all-weather surface. Newcastle and Kempton leading the way. Quality of racing on synthetic surfaces vastly improved in recent years and switch to tapeta at Newcastle fully vindicated.

@racingblogger Entrance fees along with food and drink prices are now a joke. You can buy a 50L keg of Carling for £110, there is no need to charge £7 a pint. People have had enough and voting with their feet. On average I used to dotwo meetings a week, now on course for two a year.

You often only see criticism directed at Stewards. Today an @OfficialBRFC steward saved a supporters life after he collapsed. An ambulance was called and paramedics said the ill person was 5 mins from death due to his diabetes. Very grateful to Phil and his team.

All the clubs in the lower leagues of the SPFL, that think they are protecting their own interests, are actually aiding their own slow death. Overspending to stay up, starting to catch up. Never been a better time to get around the table and talk about reconstruction.
