Why do you feel that “The Media” (as a generality) continue to say he will be traded when he has made comments to the opposite repeatedly this offseason? I feel like many want him to be elsewhere except for Russ and The Hawks.

fwiw, i think he adds the “right now” because he’s always thinking long term and he’s only contracted until 2023. if SEA felt he wasn’t their guy post 2023, he may not be there beyond 2022. so i can see why he’s saying the things he is, but i truly think he wants to be in seattle
