Applicants, admitted/enrolling students: CC is a socially conscious community that values discourse and dialogue. Participation in peaceful protest as an expression of social activism on meaningful beliefs will not negatively impact a student’s admission status.
Huge congratulations to the Colorado College Esports team, who WON the first ever Division III Esports Championship at the SCAC 2019 Esports Showdown! Go Tigers! 🎉🏆🎮🏅🐯
CC has a long history of thinking differently and accomplishing what other schools cannot. After extensive talks, the sentiment of our community is clear: CC will no longer cooperate in the deeply flawed U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” ranking.
So, this is our
#BlockPlan
. It's flexible, innovative, and allows for brilliantly innovative and in-depth learning in smaller classes. We do it 8 times a year, with summer class options as well. This is the 50th year we've been doing it, and we're not stopping any time soon!
What if we taught 1 course or project at a time? Each w/a core set of competencies. Safer, smaller cohorts to mitigate safety risks. Then if a 2nd wave hits, you don’t have learners w/4 weeks into 6 different disconnected subject areas and no evidence of learning.
