🚨We are 1 Week away from our first prospect camp of the Summer❗️
There are going to be a lot of future Blue Raiders from all over the Southeast and Midwest competing in Parnell Family Stadium ⚔️
Come level up & prove yourself 🔵 ⚪️
🏈🏕️🔗👇
Watched an old Saban clinic talk this morning
Among several gems, this really stood out 💎
As a former teacher, this definitely applies to the classroom as well!
Recruits!
If a coach asks you to fill out a questionnaire or to apply to their school, that means they’re interested in you!
If you don’t take the time to complete a quick questionnaire or apply to the school (which is free), the coach will think you’re not interested in them🤷♂️
Another great Outside Zone drill from the Tennessee Titans
This is the Snap Climb drill teaching the uncovered to snap off to the second level while helping the covered lineman overtake easier
Lots of great coaching points here!
My first college coaching opportunity, I was sleeping in the hallway of an assistant coaches’ house on a paper-thin mattress that we took from the dorms. I was waking up at 3am to work a part time job before going to the football offices
If you want it, there are opportunities.
Malzahn is back!
Here’s one of my favorite staple plays within his offense.
If the DE squeezes the down block, the QB gives (like power read). If he gets upfield, QB is getting downhill on counter!
Wide Receiver coaches always incorporate Stance and Starts into their daily drills
Here are a couple from North Texas that I hadn’t seen before
The 1-foot starts are particularly interesting 🤔
Buffalo is really good at Wide Zone. You know what makes their Wide Zone even better? Wrinkles off of their Wide Zone.
This reverse feels a little bit like the old-school Wing-T Sally play.
(I know it’s not Sally, just similar feel with the misdirection and underneath handoff)
If you need a misdirection run, you need to check out Jim McNally’s Scissors concept!
Many ways to dress it up! Great with 1 back or 2!
U of Buffalo paired it with Wide Zone!
TB Bucs pair it with Duo!
Here’s McNally’s Scissors Sniper Variation adding an extra puller ✂️
🚨QB Coaches and O Coordinators🚨
When you are teaching your offense to a QB for the first time, what are you beginning with?
Blocking scheme/protection? Pass concepts? Defensive identification? Other?
Found a Jim McNally Misdirection Run Clinic today!
We’re talking 50 Bob Scissors! ✂️
This has been a very interesting play to me this offseason as I have studied the University of Buffalo run game and noticed it as a change up.
McNally was using it way back in 2009 regularly!
“When you walk in McDonalds, you don’t order a Big Mac, fries, and a drink; you order a # 1. Thats how I think of RPOs. Rather than calling inside zone, double slants, and a glance post, I can create a name to get everything I want in the same play”
@BrentDearmon
Great analogy!
The transfer portal might be jumping, but the Greenville University coaching staff is looking for DUDES out of high school that fit our program and mission🟠⚫️
Recruit and develop ‼️

Kent State with the creative screen design!
⚡️The Golden Flashes fake the bubble to the right of the formation then return the bubble for a middle screen.
A great wrinkle and easy play to add to base screens concepts.
Thanks
@CoachDanCasey
for sharing!
Social media posts, graphics, and photo shoots are great. Brings creativity and fun. We do all those things, too.
HOWEVER, at the end of the day, we value the relationship and connection we build with our recruits
Go where feels like home

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this change-up to Wide Zone before.
Buffalo uses Wide Zone action strong to the H-back.
Pulling the Guard to secure the backside.
This feels very similar to Counter but in a unique/non traditional way
I’m excited to be joining the football staff at Nebraska Wesleyan University as the Slot Receiver Coach and Director of Social Media!
@NWUFootball
I can’t wait to touchdown in Lincoln and get to work! 🐺
You don’t grow where you’re comfortable. Ready to begin this chapter!
I cannot express my excitement and joy to join the Greenville University family! A coaching staff and university that share the same vision and mission for our student-athletes.
I’m so grateful that my job is also my hobby.
I LOVE coaching QBs and Receivers. I’ve coached both independently before.
This is the first time I’ve coached both positions at the same time.
It has been so much fun to teach our offense and game plan vs defenses with both positions in the same room.
A unique blessing!
Great stuff from Coach Studrawa!
I really enjoyed learning about the variations of Stretch that OSU utilizes including Crunch
Coach also details OSU’s Run Options and RPOs from the stretch play
There are 247 NCAA Division 3 football teams in the country 🏈
Only 32 remain.
How cool is it that we get another opportunity to compete tomorrow?
En route to Wisconsin 🚎

@EMAPFootball
Last year
@LWC_Football
offered 65 student-athletes that attended one of our prospect camps. Nearly half of those that were offered eventually signed with us this past Winter
Come showcase your talents this Summer and be part of the Blue Raid!

The folks way up north are getting creative with counter!
Normally teams will use jet motion to get an easy kick out on counter.
BC uses altered footwork from the QB/RB to get a similar affect as jet without adding an extra defensive player into the fit because of the motion
Grateful for the opportunity that our guys have to continue to play this deep in the season 🏈
Here are the number of college football programs that are STILL playing at this point…

Communication is vital within the recruiting process!
Communicate with the coaches recruiting you
Need to reschedule a phone call? Communicate

I was looking at the lineup to see who would be speaking and was shocked to see my name!
I’m so grateful to be selected among such a great panel of coaches!
Our 2-day virtual clinic will kick off Monday, July 24th, focusing on offense.

🚨 Coaches 🚨
When you’re learning a new offense or defense, do you take the new language and translate it to what you already know?
What’s your process for learning a new system and terminology?
I’m going to create a CoachTube series.
It’s going to have nothing to do with football. It’ll be 100% teaching grammar and language function.
Get ready to learn how to use commas and semicolons!

Recruits!
This is a great opportunity to finish applications, send in transcripts, complete scholarship applications, and figure out which schools fit you and which schools don’t.
Take advantage of this time. February will be here soon!
🔵Another example of Buffalo’s diverse run game package
They run G/H Counter with an extra lead blocker to the front side
What makes this play special is the QB notices the extra defender pursuing hard from the backside, so he pulls to run
Buffalo Run Game breakdown coming 🔜

Football season is a busy and can make visit opportunities difficult
We have a virtual visit opportunity tomorrow night at 8:30pm Central Time for those interested in Greenville University!
Let me know if you’re interested
Last chance!
I’ve had coaches/players reach out asking about drills that I use to develop QBs 🏈
I don’t currently have my drills prepared to share. However, here’s a folder of drills/clinics that I’ve used or tweaked to develop my QBs over the years
Enjoy!⬇️
Greenville University Football is back on the road this week looking for future Panthers!
This week I’m headed back to my home state of Tennessee!
@EMAPFootball
Big day here in Columbia, KY! 🔵⚪️
A lot of great student-athletes officially becoming Blue Raiders today! 🖊

Be prepared to have real conversations with college coaches.
When I call a recruit and have a 30 minute conversation, 25 minutes are NOT football related, although it’s all relevant to our football program.
There is much more to college football than JUST football.
If I’m a young high school player trying to get on the field or wanting to play college ball, I’m looking to play H/FB/TE!
There aren’t many great ones out there but a ton of offenses need/want them!
I enjoy the X and O’s/game-planning.
Recruiting is always fun and is ever-changing.
Game day is electrifying.
Wins make you feel good and is the goal each day/week…
But being around our players and growing relationships with them is always the thing I love the most
🚨 Coaches/Players 🚨
I’m going through my DMs to check film. It’ll take some time, but I’ll respond
If you haven’t already, fill out our recruiting questionnaire👇
If you’re interested in joining our program, go ahead & apply
One of my favorite parts of the Holiday season is having time to study other great coaches and teams 🏈📚🤓
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays🎄
The more years of coaching experience ⬆️
the less you should have to yell ⬇️ to get your point across
Are you teaching and inspiring?
Or are you intimidating?
It’s been a busy week recruiting Tennessee…
Clarksville
Adams
Cross Plains
Springfield
White House
Portland
Gallatin
Hendersonville
Nashville
Antioch
McEwen
Dickson
Pleasant View
and back to Nashville AGAIN❗️
@LWC_Football
loves the Volunteer state ⚔️ 🏈 🔵 ⚫️
Coaching is teaching!
If you can’t teach it simply, you don’t know it well enough
Explaining things in a simple manner isn’t “dumbing it down.” Instead, it’s “Wise-ing it up.”
Mike Tomlin dropping jewels,. Free Game! I been saying this for years to those close who know me.
@thepivot
y’all did smthg with this. Coach and teach better COACH!!
✅Others over self
✅Reject Passivity (doing what’s right even when you may not want to)
✅All Day Mentality (leading even after a tough game)
Great leadership
