Texas High School coaches, trust me, nobody has it better than us. I have college teammates who are HFC in California. The stuff they put up with is absurd. Its crazy that a state championship game was played on a field in this condition. This isn’t taking care of kids.

Coach Jake Gaither joined the Florida A&M Rattlers coaching staff as an assistant in 1937. in 1945 he was promoted to HFC. In 24 years as Florida A&M’s HFC he never had a losing season. In 1975 Gaither was the 1st HBCU coach inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. #BHM
