Where are the unsigned seniors who don’t mind playing Juco? I know a lot of you are still holding out hope for a D1 offer. And for some of you, you just need more time to develop and that’s ok. Just be careful you don’t end up with no offers and now you’re at a school who can’t…

Y’all did this with Harden. Gave him all that praise. Talked about the things that they were doing that hasn’t been done since MJ. Put him up on pedestal. Compared him to Bird & Bron. Propped him up to be the next best thing since sliced bread. Now here comes the wrecking ball to…
Does being “D1” and barely playing and having little to no impact really mean more to you than having an impactful and successful career? Go to the right level for you. That could be the difference between you being a pro or not if you’re good enough. 🤷🏾♂️
Blessed to see 36. I used to pray for things and opportunities. Now I pray for peace. When my story is told it will impact a lot of lives. A lot of people know me but don’t know my story and how I made it to where I’m at today. My journey isn’t finished I’m still working.
Who’s still unsigned!? Make sure you have some type of specialty. Being average or ok at multiple things isn’t what I’m looking for. If it’s defense, rebounding, shot blocking, shooting, finishing, or Playmaking, highlight that. We’re looking for hard chargers. Guys who can…
I’ve coached every level. Starting with 5 year olds all the way up to college players. Going into my 3rd year of coaching college at the Juco level. We’re not even gonna mention my playing career because that doesn’t seem to matter. FYI it’s a hell of a lot better than most that…
@ClutchPointsApp
He need to impose his will and give more of an effort. It’s not about him putting in extra work. He has the skill set and ability. It’s about him being dominant. But I get it. They gotta get clicks and views somehow.
Y’all sleep if you don’t get this guy. A straight winner. 61 wins & 5 losses in 2 years. A hard hat & lunch pale kind of guy. Brings it everyday. He WILL be the BEST defender on your roster.
That school is waiting for the kid(s) in the portal to make a decision and you’re waiting on the kid(s) and the school to make a decision. You’re the 2nd/3rd/4th choice. Other levels are ok. D2-D3-NAIA-JUCO. All of those levels are ok. But waiting just to be a 2nd/3rd/4th choice…
Also coaches, I see it a lot in AAU, but make sure you’re pushing your kids to the correct level for them when it comes to choosing a college. And also stop leaving the kids who aren’t going D1 out to dry. Make sure you help the D2,D3, NAIA, & Juco kids as well.
The look on my face when I tell a player we want them and they say they have a few schools interested in them. Then I ask how many of them have offered you? And they say none yet but they’re going to.
As an up and coming coach I’ve been asking as many people as I can in the business for advice/tips on moving up and getting jobs. So far the responses I’ve been getting are that you have to network, build relationships, and it’s about who you know. The 1 rare response I’ve got is…
It feels great seeing all these kids getting scholarship offers and signing scholarships. Being a former Juco player and knowing what that grind is like I can relate. It’s not an easy grind. Kudos to the ones that stuck with it. Take advantage of this off-season with a lot of…
Calling all bigs! Stretch bigs, back to the basket bigs, lob threat bigs, rim protecting bigs, height doesn’t matter. If that’s you then get at me! Coaches if you have any get at me!
Everybody isn’t D1. Don’t miss an opportunity holding out for something that isn’t your reality. But some of you are D1. Just not right now. You need more time and work. Everyone’s path is different. Don’t walk a path that isn’t meant for you and blame everybody along the way.
I give/gave away so much free time, energy, effort, and knowledge to people when it comes to this game. 🏀 I’ve done what most have never done. And I’ve been where most have never been. And it’s also where these kids are trying to get to.
Thanks to everyone who sent their film or even recommended some players. I have and will watch everything that was sent to me. By the way, where are all the unsigned bigs?
I love this generation of kids and the talent level is higher than ever. But as parents, teachers, coaches, and mentors we have to let them face adversity head on and guide them through it instead of holding their hand while they run from it.
It’s crazy to me that people are surprised that a team with 3 future hall of famers in their prime and a future hall of fame coach made it this far. Some of y’all just don’t know basketball. Some Warriors fans included.
Where are the high school kids at who aren’t being offered by 4 year schools and isn’t scared or too cool to play Juco? If they haven’t offered you by now, you aren’t their first choice.
At some point you’ll have to get out of your own way and stop running from adversity. I’ve listened to so many teammates when I was a player, blame coaches. Yes some coaches are not a good fit for you. But when are you gonna take accountability and become self aware?
Every time I’m in the gym training players I forget to create content to help my business grow. I get so caught up in the work and excited about the progress players make.
The grind is an understatement. Shoutout to everyone who’s been helping me and encouraging me as I progress through this journey. Everyone has a story. Don’t let them downplay yours like what you went through and what you’re going through doesn’t matter.
Message for all players. What are you elite at? It’s ok to be good at a lot of different things but be elite at 1 thing at the very least. You’ll stand out more and hold more value. What’s your separator?
Four year schools this is a home run hire if you’re looking for someone to add someone onto your staff. A proven winner and lots of intangibles to add to a staff 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
At this point in the year if you have multiple offers from any level, and at least 1 meets your criteria, you might want to make a decision. They will move on from you faster than they offered you. And you’ll be sitting there calling around trying to get something.

Have y’all tried 3&D small forwards? HOF shooting, HOF Defensive badges, & Gold finishing. Kinda slow with the ball but very fast without it. Only dribbling SF are dead
Can we please get away from young kids being forced to play zone at a young age? It’s hindering a lot of kids when they get older. Teach the fundamentals of defense and the value of keeping your man in front and not requiring help.
When you’re actually able to get in the workout with the guys you’re training. One of the best feelings. Everybody learns differently. I was a visual learner myself.
Player A: Doesn’t get the opportunity they believe that they deserve so they enter the portal.
Player B: Team is very successful and they have a lot of individual success so they enter the portal.
If your kid can’t consistently make layups at the high school level, they shouldn’t be playing AAU! Saw someone complain about the entry fee because the kids they were going to watch miss a lot of layups. Including their kid! Invest in skills training.
Instead of all of the sports media complaining about this, just promote him like you feel he should be. But they don’t really care about him either. They only care about numbers.
