Today, I signed out, after 4 beautiful years + with UNICEF supporting the NPHCDA. It was a very enriching experience. One that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. We did amazing stuff. From Polio eradication to responding to COVID-19. (I’ll be sharing my experience soon).
On Monday, Nigeria will introduce the long-awaited Rota vaccine into the routine immunization schedule. The vaccine will be available to children between 6, 10 and 14 weeks. The Rota vaccine will be available nationwide and free in public hospitals.

Dear Twitter, I said I will make a thread. So I will.
In 2018, I was contacted to work as the graphic designer for the 'Living in Bondage' movie. I was very excited as I had never been on a big project like that before hence I knew nothing and did nothing related to paperwork.
Guys, NCDC has recorded 851 cases in 2 days and 11 deaths in 24 hours.
COVID-19 is real & active. It’s not a hoax.
Please stay safe.
• Wear a face mask
• Wash your hands frequently
• Keep a safe distance
It is important to mention that no person in Nigeria has ever and will ever be vaccinated with expired vaccines. The general public needs to be clear on the fact that we have never and will never allow any expired COVID-19 vaccine to be used in Nigeria.
BREAKING NEWS!
As from October 10, 2021, Nigerians arriving the UK with proof of vaccination will no longer need to self isolate in the UK. Please read on:

I lost a schoolmate on Easter Day. She had an asthma attack and was rushed to Garki hospital. Doctors and nurses were scared it might be covid-19. They refused to attend to her. She died a few hours later, somewhere in the hospital.
You guys are failing to understand that the fact that someone is your friend doesn’t mean you must agree or be okay with their opinion/stance.
We agree to disagree.
Last night, Nigeria received 699,760 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine donated by the UK Government.
The vaccine will be administered as second dose to those who had earlier received only the first dose of the AZ vaccine.
Editi is a brilliant reporter. He didn’t only bring everyone up to speed, he laced it with humour. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for doing such a great job.

Houses are getting submerged daily in Nigeria. People are dying and families are displaced, and there's loud silence from the authority. This is awful.
Today, Nigeria took delivery of 177, 600 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines, being part of the 29,850,000 doses that the Federal Government of Nigeria procured from the AFREXIM Bank through the African Union. The balance of the vaccine will be delivered in monthly tranches.
Thank you for showing me mercy, dear lord. Thank you for your unmerited grace.
I am in the best place.
I am incredibly blessed and I am happy.
I am + 1.
Happy Birthday, Cheechy! 🧡
My unpopular opinion: Mo Abudu has no business making a film about HushPoppi. Something about the timing and just making him (more) popular doesn’t feel right.
If you are trained or licenced to give injection in the FCT, we need you to support our COVID-19 mass vaccination efforts.

This is for adhoc vaccinators and you’ll be paid*
I can’t put into words how this Twitter ban is affecting COVID-19 response/vaccination campaign. Twitter provides access to information (in real time) in a way IG and Facebook can’t.
Why can’t these people see this set back?
Please let’s look out for ourselves and our people. Buying and selling of COVID-19 card is a criminal offence. Please report anyone who tries to buy or sell vaccination cards through COVID-19 hotline: 07002201122, NPHCDA website:

Today, we remember our dearest colleagues whose lives were cut short during the 2011 bomb blast on the UN House. It’s exactly 10 years today.
We pray for your souls & continue to keep your families & loved ones close to our hearts.

I woke up one day and figured that I either soar or sink, but for my life to be as great as my imagination, I'd have to do more. And that's precisely what I did. I haven't stopped pushing!
I find the work I did around COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccination specifically in Nigeria and my support to 47 countries both humbling and gratifying. It's remarkable that I am still receiving commendations for it.
The flag-off and roll out of the 2nd phase of the COVID-19 Vaccination programme will be taking place on August 16th, 2021.
