I never reveal sources because my brother in law Brett Veach said not to. They call me David. Aspiring humorist & hard-core Chiefs optimist. I love my family.
People screw up & then press because they feel bad & don’t want to let people down. Won’t forget KT helped us get a trophy in LVII. I’m for following Travis’s lead here. Travis f-d up plenty in his life, people like Andy & Jason had his back while he grew. Patience & support >>>
Some folks are upset that Chiefs players are smiling at Pro Bowl. Get a grip, life goes on. Vital that they decompress after relentless grind, best thing is them coming back for ‘22 refreshed & ready to rock. That doesn’t come from moping around beating yourself up all offseason.
If you’re 100% sure the NFL is rigged in the Chiefs favor why aren’t you MFs living on your own island in the Caribbean with your winnings from betting on KC?
I’m sure the haters are going to love the fact that Taylor Swift generated the money that lets us keep CJ and Sneed. She is the man, she is the ma-an. 🎶
This time of year I always reflect back on how lucky I was to win the eBay auction for Patrick’s original draft card (winning bid $39.00). This thing is probably priceless by now.
NFL insiders are reporting that several franchises are quietly pushing for a new postseason “sudden death” rule under which a team achieving a 10 point or greater lead over the Kansas City Chiefs at any point during a game would immediately be awarded the win.
@RapSheet
Titans are screwed, as NFL insiders are reporting that Cincinnati will start Magneto at free safety today after signing him earlier this week off of the X-Men’s practice squad.
Somehow Andy has the courage & patience to hold stuff back until the Super Bowl. Bosa, for example, ignores the chance of a called run to Mahomes, blows by Mahomes on these plays because Bosa hasn’t seen it on film or prepped for it. Magnificent work.
I’ll say this for Romo, he genuinely seems to admire & respect Mahomes, Allen, and other QBs, & he shows it. As opposed to a guy drowning in so much jealousy that he cannot call a game objectively. I’ll bet everyone knows exactly who I’m talking about w/o me even saying his name.
Happy to report I am definitely following the right people on here as I have not seen any hate for Justin Reid on my timeline. Like, at all. Love the guy.
No effing way I’m paying $5.99 to Peacock just to watch a playoff game of my beloved Chiefs. I’m no fool, gonna head to Starbucks instead, grab me a coffee, and listen to the game on the radio instead of unnecessarily pissing away my money.
I had a dream last night Chiefs beat Cowboys in the SB, Travis got MVP & proposed to Taylor immediately after the game in midst of confetti flying everywhere & she screamed “yes!!” & they got married next day at Cinderella’s castle in Disney World & then we all had a cigarette.
Kyle Brandt arguing Chiefs are screwed for replacing Tyreek w/ JJSS, MVS and Moore, then patting the Bills on the back for drafting a running back and punter >>>>>
In some good news for the Chiefs, NFL insiders are reporting that Patrick Mahomes’ personal trainer Bobby Stroupe, despite acute exhaustion & grade 5 ligament damage from collecting millions of receipts from Bills fans, has been cleared to return to action vs. the Ravens fanbase.
We do not deserve this team. Players apologize, including Travis, & we pile on them because we are so damn entitled. Get a grip. Hug your family. Count your blessings: Mahomes, LIV, LVII, our insane defense, and KC still odds on Super Bowl favorite. Happy Thanksgiving.🦃
Love the folks arguing Josh Allen is better than Mahomes, their argument boils down to “Allen is clearly better if you ignore all of Mahomes’ stats, awards, playoff accomplishments, SB win & consistent excellence since he became a starter.”
❌ Chiefs can’t win with a $500 million QB taking up cap room.
❌ Chiefs can’t win playoff games on the road.
❌ Chiefs are too cheap to pay Chris Jones.
Up next:
🔲 Chiefs can’t 3-peat.
What if Brett Veach saved millions per year in cap space, doubled our draft picks for ‘22 draft, added picks for ‘23, acquired young new secondary in a single draft + a nice young edge, LB, RB, & then traded beans to acquire a young, insanely talented 1st-rounder WR?
Told Veach over beers tonight that job is simple:
- Extend Sneed
- Extend Jones
- Get big-time FA WR
- 1st round pick on another WR
- Other 1st round pick on LT
- Get Taylor to cut contract in 1/2
- Trade up into 1st to get Kelce help at TE
- Free parking & beer at Arrowhead
Hello my friends, me and my daughter made it out of the parade areas fine and are safe. I very much appreciate the inquiries, love you people. I used to think “twitter friends” was a joke, but it isn’t. Have met some wonderful people on here (and some in person to boot).
Sometimes I wonder about KC’s fan base, but then I heard the reception Alex Smith got at Arrowhead last night. The place went absolutely nuts for him. It was awesome, and I think Alex was moved by the crowd’s reaction. Made me proud to be a KC fan.
NFL insiders are reporting that San Francisco and Philadelphia have jointly submitted a proposed rule change under which any team leading the Kansas City Chiefs at the end of the first half of a Super Bowl would be declared winner and immediately awarded the Lombardi trophy.
I was listening to a 49ers pod this morning & one of the guys said “If you leave the door cracked open even a little bit against the Chiefs they are going to kick it off the hinges every time.” It’s fascinating to get unvarnished perspective from opposing fanbases.
NFL insiders are reporting that Super Bowl LVIII between the Chiefs and 49ers set a new Super Bowl record with more than 123.4 million viewers shouting at their televisions for Tony Romo to shut up.
This team has no business being this far along this quickly. Masterful job by Andy, Spagnolo. I’m bummed about the loss. But Chiefs are on schedule to be peaking in December & January. We’re fine.
Mahomes is a fine quarterback, but in analyzing his performance, you can’t let all of the touchdowns, yardage, and 3rd down conversions cloud your thinking.

I am the luckiest man on earth. Chiefs season ticket prices increased, but my wife is still all-in, wants to get season tickets & wants to go to the games with me.
Tonight we’re huddling up on how to pay for the tickets, probly by selling one of the kids.
Tyreek, sitting at home while his pals go to the Super Bowl, has got to be questioning whether being a slightly richer gazillionaire instead of a regular gazillionaire was really worth it.
When Chiefs lost to Raiders on Christmas Day, it left our team 3-5 over their last eight games. Had to beat Bengals & Chargers just to finish 5-5 for last ten games of the season. But then Chiefs marched through toughest slate ever of playoff foes by DVOA. This year was insane.
Spags plan for Baltimore? My guess (not a lot of genius here I admit):
1. Play coverage, limited blitzing
2. Spy on Jackson
3. Controlled rush, guys stay in their lanes
4. Let Sneed do his erasing thing
5. Make Jackson win with his arm
Justin Reid delivered the pain last night. MVS somehow shook off the last four months & balled out. Clyde showed out. CJ affects game even without a sack. Diggs erased. Pat is the big story of course, but love the effort coming from every corner of the team.
Chris Jones + Karlaftis + Dunlap + Gay + younger, faster, harder hitting DBs. More well-rounded offense. Feeling good about Sunday, Chiefs are going to surprise a lot of people.
No you weirdos, I am NOT sitting around my house in my pajamas and my favorite Chiefs hoodie eating a bunch of delicious snacks left over from last night while watching Chiefs highlights all day.
If Hardman wasn’t on the Chiefs, ever, and Veach was signing a FA now who was an exact clone of Hardman to be WR3/4, the fanbase would be excited for the speed, jet sweep ability, the steady rise in catches & yards since coming in the league. We’re stuck in glass 1/2 empty mode.
Pressure is off, WAY off, Kadarius Toney to be WR1 or even WR3. I tend to be a huge optimist. Imagine Toney, with restored confidence, going against the other team’s 4th corner. Andy and Patrick are going to have a blast this year.
On a somber note, NFL insiders are reporting that Bobby Stroupe has suffered 6 sports hernias & incurred massive nerve damage in both thumbs after collecting more than 1,000,000 receipts from the Baltimore fanbase. Stroupe, undaunted, has promised to be ready in time for LVIII.
I’m 60, been glued to the TV since I was 6 watching the NFL. Dreamed my whole life of having a QB, a coach, a team like this. Feel like I won the lottery. I’ll always be sad when we lose, but even then I’m going to count myself among the luckiest fans in the history of the sport.
Forever we hardly even knew what a playoff win was. Now we’ve won at least one playoff game six years in a row. Unbelievable. I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure it’s not all just a dream.
Josh Gordon kept his head done, worked, didn’t appear to act entitled, no complaints about playing time or targets, no social media reactions to any negativity. Wish he’d have had enough gas left to help KC. I can’t help but wish that guy the best.
Seeing posts like “OMG there are available tickets at Arrowhead, how embarrassing.” Get a grip. It is near life-threatening weather, it’s ok if people cannot come. We will have a great crowd, more than most places would, & we’ll be screaming our guts out, weather be damned.
NFL insiders are reporting that the Chiefs front office has been overwhelmed by calls from irate fans after a rumor surfaced that they are trading Creed Humphrey to the Bengals for Tee Higgins. Team officials are promising to find and “physically harm” whoever started the rumor.
Ravens are great, but there’s no guarantee for them or the Chiefs or anyone else in the final 4. I like our chances, but no matter the outcome I love our team & feel so grateful for this incredible ride & ecstatic for what the future holds. Six AFCCGs in a row, & no end in sight.
Watching The Franchise it strikes me the Chiefs struggles this year give them an edge. They looked failure in the face & said “no f*cking way.” Fighting through dark times together made them stronger, grittier, BETTER in ways maybe we haven’t seen before. True junkyard dogs.
If you’re a Chiefs fan and trolling Mecole Hardman what’s the point? Support the kid, let the coaches figure out the rest. Does anyone really think they can “fix” a player by beefing at them on Twitter? We are so freaking spoiled in this town.
We can’t expect any of Veach’s draft picks to have an impact in ‘22 because our draft picks never have an impact their first year except for rare exceptions like Thornhill, Fenton, Hardman, Smith, Humphrey, Bolton, CEH, Nnadi, and Sneed.
If the end of the 1st half play ends in a touchdown EVERY FAN, EVERY PUNDIT, lauds Reid & Mahomes for “killer instinct” and “putting the Bengals away.” All of us would praise Reid for trusting his aggressive & confident QB. I hope they don’t change one bit. Stay aggressive.
Honest take. Bills are our AFC brothers, there with Lamar from the beginning. We’re a lot alike, smaller, tough towns w/ gritty, loyal fanbases. Buffalo deserves a championship. So if Bills beat us Sunday I’m definitely going to root for the Sabres to finally win a Stanley Cup.
Last December the Chiefs lost to the Bengals, eked out a win vs the crappy Broncos, and had to go to overtime to beat the lowly Texans. Go look at your timelines from back then.☠️ Chiefs recovered. Maybe they won’t in 2023 but I still believe.
I know he had issues but I’m always going to remember what MVS did vs. Cincinnati in the ‘22 AFCCG. Last man standing, and he delivered big-time. There’s no LVII trophy without him. Hope he lands another opportunity somewhere.
Kyle Brandt is a genius, points out all the Dolphins need to do is score 30 on the Chiefs. Here is what Chiefs defense has given up this year:
21 (Lions)
9
10
20
20
17
24
14 (Dolphins)
21 (Eagles)
17
27 (Packers)
20 (Bills)
17
20
17
12
Kyle, do you see a pattern?
A theory.
1. KC kills defenses w/ deep passes in 2018 when Pat takes over.
2. DCs adapt, take away deep shots.
3. Hill trade.
4. Andy develops precision short/mid range scheme. Shreds Philly w/ it.
5. DCs counter, take short/mid game away.
6. KC lacks deep threats to respond.
When people say trade Hill for picks it is astounding to me. We’ve seen him enough we’ve started to take him for granted? He’s in his prime & as much of a unicorn as Mahomes is. Folks getting too carried away w/ building for the future. When you’ve got a SB squad now go get a SB.
Said same last week, I’m 100% grateful to our team for the journey. It ain’t always going to be easy. Win or lose vs. Ravens, I love our guys & know we’ll be right back in it next year.
PS: I love our chances tomorrow.
The league better hope that Josh Gordon doesn’t come around into decent form with a full offseason because he’d be the 4th or 5th option for Mahomes (before or after Hardman). That offense would burn down the NFL.
NFL insiders report that the 49ers will boycott SB LVIII unless the league meets the following demands:
-A “dryer, but not too dry” practice field
-49ers players allowed to call penalties on KC
-Soft lighting to enhance Kyle Shanahan’s skin tone
-Free rabies shots for Nick Bosa
Mark my words, the Chiefs will take a huge step backwards this year like they did last year. Loss of JuJu will cripple the offense as bad as the loss of Hill.
I don’t know what’ll happen in Baltimore but I remember being inundated before last year’s Super Bowl by pundits blathering on & on about the Eagles unstoppable offense, overwhelming defense & “better roster” than Kansas City as if we were screwed before the game was even played.
One Thanksgiving we ate out at Capitol Grill & Trav was at the table next to us. A steady stream of people came up to his table. Not sure he even got to eat! Trav took pictures, signed autographs, etc with a giant smile & twinkle in his eye the entire time. He’s one of one.
“Travis has always been Travis. It’s been cool to watch for me because I mean obviously he has all that attention, but he’s just been himself the whole time.”
“He’s still Travis Kelce. We’ll walk through the stadium and he’ll treat every person like their his best friend.”
If the Patriots beat the Cowboys yesterday with the exact same box score as the Chiefs then the national media would be crowning New England as the SB champs. KC wins don’t count unless they score more than 30.
When Mahomes & Kelce leave money on the table to ensure there’s enough of it to have a championship roster I really don’t want to find out Jones put his foot on the accelerator to max out his own deal. If you want to be one of the Three Musketeers you gotta act like it.
I just assumed I’d get flamed for this post but it’s quite the opposite. Very pleasantly surprised to see that people in overwhelming numbers have Toney’s back, favor patience & support. I wish there was a way to bottle the support & send it to Toney so he could feel it.
People screw up & then press because they feel bad & don’t want to let people down. Won’t forget KT helped us get a trophy in LVII. I’m for following Travis’s lead here. Travis f-d up plenty in his life, people like Andy & Jason had his back while he grew. Patience & support >>>
The Chiefs wild card round game vs. Miami was the 4th coldest game in 100+ years of NFL history. Many predicted there would be a sparse turnout because of the cold. They predicted wrong. This was the view from my seat. I’ve never been prouder of the Kingdom than I was that day.
The Chiefs went 5-5 the last 10 games of the season, including losses to the lowly Broncos & Raiders, then marched through the Dolphins, Bills, Ravens & 49ers to win another SB. My brain is still in disbelief, so probably going to rewatch some games this week. Just to be sure.
Can’t stress this enough: Mahomes has been grinding like a maniac for 4 straight years, feels the weight of the world every single day. You can hear the mental exhaustion in his voice. KC hasn’t invested in WR in THREE YEARS. Get Mahomes a top-shelf WR2, he’s earned that.
I wish I could get excited by these 40 times but a bunch of 49ers, Bills, and Bengals fans have already confirmed to me that these numbers don’t matter, were probably faked, and the refs handed the Chiefs the game when these guys tested at the combine.😞
I moved to KC from St. Louis. I love the greater KC metro area. My 2 cents: Kansas side rocks. Missouri side rocks. Great BBQ on both sides. Love the Chiefs. Amazing people on both sides. Y’all have a wonderful thing going here. I wouldn’t live anywhere else, & I’m not kidding.
