As an update I have recieved confirmation today from @loblawco that they "will NOT impose restrictive language in [their] sale agreement regarding the sale of food/grocery product at this location". So no restrictive covenant, which is some relief 1/2

This is not right. I was angered to see the video of this incident and the homophobic and racist comments made toward the group painting the #Pridewalks last night. An attack on people painting a crosswalk that reminds us to value and celebrate each other as we are.

It is hard to find the words. The news emerging from Cowesses First Nation is heartbreaking. This brings the horrific truth of these schools right to our doorstep. Many of these children will have had direct relatives who now live in Saskatoon.

Apparently the storm in 2007 only brought in 17cm of snow, and that was the biggest in 50 years. This weekend's storm was 35-40cm - that's more than double! #yxe

Bit of a fact check here on the 2007 storm. StarPhoenix story on Jan. 12. 2007 says blizzard brought 17 centimetres of snow over 15 hours and qualified as worst blizzard in 50 years. This weekend's blizzard hammered city with 30 to 40 cm of snow and ice.
