@CentreforCities And that's despite massively disproportionate investment in London's buses, underground (albeit all spent on pensions and wage rises), the Elizabeth line, and replacing carriageways buses and taxis could use with under-used cycleways.

@CentreforCities That’s because their cities and infrastructure were reconstructed post WWII. Paid for in part by us Ours weren’t.
