It's Carleton's very own sculpture garden! These hand-carved ice sculptures just outside of Sayles feature a giant penguin, the Carleton "C", the bust of Schiller, and Olaf the snowman (sadly, the bust of Schiller has mysteriously disappeared!)

Today's the day we started welcoming students back to campus! We couldn't be happier to see our students again and we can't wait to welcome more of you next week.
This is a time of uncertainty, but it's also a time for creativity and innovation. Our faculty are already doing amazing things as they prepare to teach online next term. As Professor Julia Strand tells her Sensation & Perception students, "It's online, but it's still Carleton."
I know my students are nervous about the transition to online classes. I made them a welcome video to help reassure them! It'll be an online class, but it'll still be

Peter Tork came to Carleton as a member of the Class of 1964. He studied French horn, played piano, sang in folk groups, participated in theatre and hosted a radio show. He didn't graduate, but that doesn't matter. Once a Carl, always a Carl.
Today’s student-athletes are faced with a tough choice when they’re considering college: Should I prioritize academics or athletics? Carleton offers a third option: How about both?
Good luck to
