It’s been 13 years since Skyrim came out. In that time we’ve got:
Skyrim
Arena was released in 1994. In the 13 years following we got:
Arena
Daggerfall
Battlespire
Redguard
Morrowind
Oblivion
I just woke up to a woman outside my house screaming at the top of her lungs “FUCK OFF YOU FILTHY LITTLE ROTTEN ELF CUNT!”. Seems tensions with the Thalmor are getting higher everyday
I have
@starfieldgame
and that is all I can say about it until the game releases to the public. Massive thanks to
@bethesda_anz
for giving me a review code, I know they were extremely limited and I will be making the most of this once a decade opportunity. So, I will see you all
I’ve now logged 110 hours in Starfield. I will now go to my own Starfield and sleep for the first time in a long time. Not long before the game goes live and we can start sharing videos 🙏

The fact Elder Scrolls maps went from these beautiful, colourful, detailed & exciting maps, to these beige skeletons of maps still annoys me. I used to sit down in awe with the Morrowind map and study it. I think I looked at the Oblivion and Skyrim maps once, with disappointment.
Can Bethesda please stop updating Skyrim. I always have to spend hours fixing shit that was working previously. I mean if they want to fix that diagonal / split screen shadow issue at 4K that I’ve been sending bug reports about for 3 years - That’d be great. Apart from that. Stop
Ah yes, Riften. Famously known for its Chinese garden arches in the background. This is official ESO marketing btw 😂 like, green screen / don’t film with Chinese architecture in the background?
I said goodbye today to River, who most of you know as Fallout 4’s Dogmeat.
Heartbroken doesn't cover it, but I won’t eulogize her here. For twitter, I thought it'd be appropriate to look back at her impact on that game.
(plus, writing about game dev hurts less than grieving)
So in the middle of nowhere, I came across this stream. Next to it I found the skeleton of a woman who was sun bathing naked, lying on a rock... Then I saw him.

Today I noticed that the small island to the East of the Imperial City - which just so happens to be covered in necromancers - is shaped just like a daedra heart.
With that, have a lovely day!
I spent an hour painstakingly splitting potion stacks & piling them up for a thumbnail. I put the controller down, the shout button hit my leg & I blew an hour of work across Whiterun. I get it, it’s funny; but my head was in my hands for about 3 minutes straight afterwards 😔😅
I NEED YOUR SCREEN SHOTS FOR A VIDEO. Essentially Skyrim Geoguesser. You take a screen shot, I try to match my in game screen with your screen shot with a timer.
Plz make sure:
-It's outside
-an open shot
-day time
-not unrecognizably modded
-from character's POV.

I saw more homeless people in my first hour of being in LA than I’d seen in my entire life (been to about 40 countries, 15 or so were 3rd world). Yet, every time, I am still shocked by the state of “The City Of Angels”, where “dreams are made”, in the “Greatest Country On Earth”.
I took a screenshot off of the Gold COast in Oblivion and noticed something strange. A scuba diver? It's not my character and there are no NPCs in the water off of the Gold Coast?
Morrowind was on a totally different planet. We really need this completely alien realm of fantasy to come back. It's SO refreshing, even now.
Ash Zombies - their heads have literally exploded from enlightenment.
I love how universal Skyrim is. Drinking with some random 47 year old American dude from Oregon. No gaming background at all. I’m like “do you know Skyrim?”. He goes “I fucking love Skyrim, I try and play other games but I always go back to Skyrim”. That’s my man (watch my videos

You want something crazy?!
2006 = Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
2008 = Fallout 3
2010 = Fallout: New Vegas
2011 = Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
That's 4 games in 5 years, (ALL OF WHICH WERE SINGULARLY BETTER THAN FALLOUT 4 AND FALLOUT 76 COMBINED).

for the first time in a week or so and my C.A.M.P. that I spent hours building has been deleted. Not stored, not blue printed, but deleted. The budget is still full so I can't build anything else. 4 weeks after release and it's getting worse.
Remember that classic episode of Thomas the Tank Engine where they brick Henry up in a tunnel and leave him to rot for eternity while the other trains drive past and laugh at him for being entombed alive? Classic kids stuff.
In Oblivion there is a unique weapon called Hoe, which is literally just a gardening hoe. Funnily it has a secret enchantment; hitting enemies with it has a 40% chance to inflict a unique disease called Ticklebritch (itchy pants). So it's also a metaphorical Hoe giving you an STD
