West Virginia was Jevon Carter’s only Power 5 offer out of high school. Became a two-time National Defensive Player of the Year, All-American and No. 32 pick in the NBA Draft. Never stop working

defensive lineman Reese Donahue on senior William Crest: "I want to be like Will Crest because he’s such a phenomenal leader, such a phenomenal person. He is outstanding.”
Say what you want about Will Grier, but I can assure you that he and his family gave everything to the state of West Virginia and the football program. Grier has a long and great NFL career ahead of him. It’s Jack Allison and Trey Lowe time now
Career news: I am blessed to announce that I am moving to Dallas to join the team at Star Local Media as a Sports Reporter. I can’t wait to get started next week!
McAllen Memorial RB Campbell Speights is a Navy commit with 2,242 rushing yards and 33 TD this year. His brother, Trevor Speights, is a RB at Stanford and the No. 4 all-time rusher in state history. Their cousin, Marreese Speights, won an NBA title with the Golden State Warriors
William Crest came in as a 4-star QB, but has not gotten a ton of playing time there or at receiver. But you never ever hear a complaint from him. Fans love him. Players and coaches love him. He has been a terrific teammate and representative of West Virginia
Career news: I am truly blessed to announce that I will be returning home to join the team at NBC Sports Bay Area in San Francisco. I greatly enjoyed my time there as an intern in 2016. Thank you to everyone that helped me get to this point. Can’t wait to get started!
Will Grier is honored on Senior Night. The Florida transfer is No. 3 in

Great start for

’s Jevon Carter at the NBA Draft Combine. Sinks his first two shots — both pull-up jumpers — and assisted on an alley-oop. The only issue: one turnover. Other then that, he is impressive. Received early praise from ESPN’s Jay Bilas
My mother suffered a stroke, but she is hanging in there and grateful she is still here with us today. She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She’s going to get through all of this 🙏🏼

I had an unbelievable time during my first football season in Laredo. Thank you to every coach and player for giving me more access than I could ever ask for. You all made my job covering you as easy as possible. There is some really good football in this city
Curious as to how Will Grier is not rated higher? Put on the tape and you’ll see everything he can do. One of the best quarterbacks and most mature individuals I’ve been around at the college level. No doubt he will flourish with whoever he plays for in the NFL
Words cannot accurately describe how proud I am of the
@westcoastpreps_
staff.
I really need to go back and count how many games this staff attended during the 2022-23 year. It must be astronomical!
Most dedicated people I’ve ever worked with ❤️
5-star center Oscar Tshiebwe commits to

Big things are coming and I could not be more excited.
I will be moving to Sacramento over the summer to spearhead this expansion.
Don’t worry, I’ll still be in the Bay Area plenty!
We’ll have more schools getting covered and a larger staff, too
