I attended my first virtual meeting of the Nigeria Governors' Forum today. It was an interesting moment to interact with my brother Governors from other States.
Following the unanimous agreement of our leaders across board, and the endorsement of the entire body of Christ, I am pleased to inform our people that today, Monday April 4, 2022 marks the official end to the "Monday sit-at-home" in Anambra State.
I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Friday, 13th May, 2022 to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East.
With utmost humility and gratitude to God, I accept the results of the 2021 Anambra Governorship election as declared by INEC. This reflects the supreme will of the almighty God, and an overwhelming sacred mandate of the people.
Today, I signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) to ensure that power supply in the state is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Yesterday, I visited Ekwulobia Prison after my thanksgiving mass.
During my visit, I walked around the prison facility to see its present condition and I had a chat with the prisoners and the wardens and I assured them there will be a new system that will be set up.
I have just received my certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Thank you Ndị Anambra for the overwhelming support. This divine mandate shall be deployed for the good of the Anambra public and humanity at large.

CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: ANAMBRA TALENT DATABANK
The Anambra State Governorship election was successfully conducted in November 2021 and a new administration will assume office on the 17th of March 2022.
A cool Sunday evening.
It is indeed the Lord's day and we must first thank God almighty for his mercy. Indeed, "many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but the Lord delivereth him from them all".
Good evening my people.

On board an Air Peace flight from Abuja to Anambra, being chauffeured to the homestead in an IVM G80 car, I ask myself what more could better explain ‘Local’ as the new global?
I read you!
Social media is a critical infrastructure no serious leader should esteem lightly. Just like life itself, I spend considerable time to read the good, the bad and, if you like, the ugly on this space.
Yesterday, I received in audience my brother and Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr.
@PeterObi
, in a private meeting at the Governor's lodge, Amawbia.
Mr. Obi is one of the two illustrious Sons of our dear State gunning to be the President of Nigeria.
This is the third week since I was sworn in as the Governor of Anambra State. In line with my promise to the people and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 20 Commissioners have been sworn in today after going through the statutory screening at the State Assembly
This is an assemblage of the people I describe as wise men and women who have kindly accepted to pay to serve our homeland, under the leadership of one of Anambra’s finest gift to the world, our own dear Oby Ezekwesili.
RE: ARREST OF MR. CHUDE BY THE POLICE
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Police Command has confirmed to me, that one Mr Nnamdi Chude was arrested yesterday (18/03/23) in Anambra by the Cyber Crime Unit of Interpol and taken to Abuja today (19/03/23).
*SPECIAL PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT*
Commercial banks have been directed by the Central Bank to dispense old currency notes and to also receive same as deposits from customers.
Indeed, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would even give Peter Obi money as someone heading one of the departments of his campaign because Obi is making Tinubu’s pathway to victory much easier by indirectly pulling down PDP. It is what it is!
Today we activated the process of transforming Ekwulobia into a model city. I have flagged off the construction of a fly-over, a modern bus terminal, adjoining roads, security building, a fire Station amongst others, in the area.
It was a pleasure to visit Amoji Primary school, Isuofia with my family this morning. Amoji primary school is part of my "adopt a school" experiment that has proven very effective in bridging the educational gap in our rural community.
My unscheduled visit today to the Ifite-UNIZIK road evoked emotions that words can’t describe.
By my next visit to this road, it won't be the same. This axis is home to many students, the very future for which we elected to take up this job.
May Anambra continue to succeed.
These are my brothers!
Hon. Okechukwu Okoye (Okey dị okay) and Cyril Chiegboka were murdered in the most gruesome manner. No human being should ever have to experience death in that way.
Today is Palm Sunday!
As we commence the Holy week, I want us to reflect on "Mass irrationality". Often times, it appears correct, logical or even conventional until one voice decides to stand different.
Tania Okpala is back on the courts!
A few months ago, social media was flooded with a viral video showing Ms. Tania in a distressing state on the streets of Awka. I am pleased to report that we have successfully restored Tania to her winning ways.
Yes, poverty more than doubled under Peter Obi and more than 50% of Ndi Anambra were in poverty under him. Go and verify! I am Governor, and sitting on privileged information which I will not want to use against a political opponent.
I commissioned the tomato paste line of Tiger Foods Limited today. This is a major expansion and addition to the Tiger food brand, an indigenous natural spice manufacturing company domiciled in Anambra.
I call for your support and prayers, as we have resolved to fiercely go after criminal elements who are out to threaten our peace and distort our development.
Anambra is the Light of the Nation, we must keep it so.
Women constitute 87% of secondary
school teachers and 92% of primary
school teachers in Anambra's public
schools. Our civil service is dominated

I am pleased to inform you that my administration's scorecard for the past year is now available for view. It provides an overview of our achievements and insights into our plans for the future.
Every 31st of July I work to create special moments for the woman who has become my rock, and everything I ever prayed for in a wife.
Typical of her, she chose to visit the sick in the hospital & orphans at the orphanage to mark her special day
Happy Birthday to my beloved Wife
As history beckons, my conscience and sense of duty to my people dictate that I should never be silent. I will happily accept the judgment of history for standing by the truth!

Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR
Governor, Anambra State
National Leader, APGA
Whatever it is that makes the people choose Barabas over and above Jesus must stop in our time.
This, for me, is the lesson we must take away from our Triduum reflections.

Today, I flagged off the “Clean, Green and Sustainable Anambra” initiative at Ochanja, a suburb of Onitsha. Desilting works have commenced with prompt evacuation of debris. The next will be to give the roads around the area a deserving facelift.
Yesterday, I flagged-off the 2022 Anambra farming season, and also launched our administration's flagship agro-economic policy, themed; Regenerative Agriculture (Regen-Agriculture).
Today is for my Queen!
Happy birthday to my lovely wife,
@NonyeSoludo
. On behalf of me and our children, I wish you many more years of impact and service to humanity.
When I count my blessings, I count you twice. Happy birthday my Queen!
I am that man the Lord has shown mercy.
I see birthdays as fresh opportunities to improve humanity, it is God’s own way to remind us of the very essence of our creation. Each time I clock a new age, I remind myself that God has not brought us into the world to just exist.
I have also offered Amnesty to all our brothers in the various forests around us. Give us your guns, and trust us to help you forge a meaningful living.
Earlier today, I inaugurated the Board of the Anambra Internal Revenue Service (AIRS) with clear terms of reference and a task to increase the state's internally generated revenue.
Today marks exactly one year since we assumed duty, serving ndi Anambra and working round the clock to build an Anambra that is livable and prosperous.
Rest assured that we will account for every day of these 365 days.
God bless Anambra!
I am currently holding a two-day retreat with members of my team -- the Solution Team -- comprising of Commissioners, Special Advisers, Heads of Agencies/Parastatals, Permanent Secretaries and key aides.
The task of taking back our dear State and reclaiming the dignity of our collective existence is at the heart of our drive towards a Liveable and Prosperous Homeland. This task is a MUST.
Every four years, we resurface with emotive Nzogbu Nzogbu political dance (“it is our turn dance” but without organization or strategy) and fizzle out afterwards while others work 24/7 strategizing and organizing.
Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win.
Today, I held a town hall meeting with my Employers - Ndi Anambra - the occasion afforded me the opportunity to present the Scorecard of my administration in 365 (one year), and to provide more insight on the road ahead.
Christ is risen, hallelujah! Our Lord brought the inconvenient truth about salvation. The headless mob mocked, condemned and crucified Him. Some 2000 years after, the truth, embodied in the risen Christ and His message of salvation and eternity, still endures.
He assured that if the opportunity arises, he will be glad to personally broadcast to his followers to maintain the peace.
Together, we shall restore peace, security and prosperity in Anambra and the Southeast.
It is well indeed!
CC. Soludo, CFR
I appreciate the hardwork and dedication of women all over the world, particularly Anambra women who are unrelenting in their pursuit of an excellent Society!
Happy International Women’s Day

I am happy to announce the launch of the Solution Innovation District. This is part of our effort to develop the Amambra digital tribe to shore up our human capital base. To achieve this, I have signed a partnership agreement with Microsoft Africa and Wootlab Foundations.
The fate of our public schools is like those of our aged parents who depend solely on their children for survival after years of valuable contributions to making the children who they have become today.
My heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Ondo State on the gruesome killing of innocent worshippers at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, today by rampaging criminals.
This is one out of many acts of unprovoked killing of Nigerians.
Shortly, I will be announcing the membership of the Peace and Reconciliation Committee that will look into addressing all areas of sincere challenge, including interfacing with the Federal Government on behalf of all Prisoners of conscience.
What is our Plan B when Peter Obi loses in February 2023? Some people prefer that we should play the Ostrich while Peter Obi toys with the collective destiny of over 60 million Igbos. Yes, you pray that he wins, but what if he fails as he is certain to?
I have just signed the Anambra 2023 budget appropriation document into law.
The timeous preparation and expedited legislative process in passing this "Budget of Acceleration" is indicative of our recognition that ours is a vision with a deadline.
During the 2019 presidential election, the five South East States were united for PDP but contributed merely 1.6 million votes to PDP which was about the votes that Kano state gave to Buhari.
Not knowing much about others, some see Peter Obi as the contrast they wished for. I get the point. But this is a democracy: the minority will have their say, but the majority their way. Translating anger and social media agitation into political outcomes requires humongous work.
The emotions might run to heavens but politics-power is about cold calculations, organization and building alliances for power. In a democracy, it is a game of numbers. So far, I don’t see any of these--- and 2023 might again be a wasted opportunity for Ndigbo!
It won’t happen by desperately jumping from one party to another or by unleashing a social media mob on everyone who slightly disagrees with you. I decided to pen my views personally -- again for the records. On this, I don’t mind being a one man minority.
Seriously speaking, the obdurate attempt to muscle the republican Igbos to maintain the silence of the graveyard is antithetical to everything Igbo. It is not who we are. Insulting other ethnic groups and religions or denigrating others is certainly not the path to Aso Rock.
Our founding fathers understood that in politics, you don’t get what you deserve but what you bargain/negotiate, and you negotiate with your organization and VOTES. Not social media militancy or bullying (where over 90% of actual voters are not on social media)!
Tanya Okpala (Fmr Tennis champion) is now in the custody of the Anambra State Government. She was with the Commissioner of Women Affairs when my wife spoke with her on the phone. My government will ensure her rehabilitation and fruitful reunion with her daughter and family.
At the outset, let me state that this exhibition of desperation, intolerance and attempt to bully everyone who expresses the slightest of dissent is reprehensible. This is Hitler in the making.
Finally, I met the Anambra record-breaking wonder kid, young Chinonso Eche (
@ChinonsoEche
), who is 14 years old and holds the Guinness Book of Records football Freestyle talent award for a record five (5) times.
He should have fun and enjoy the fleeting frenzy of the moment. But he must moderate the desperation as exhibited by his social media mob. There is a limit to propaganda. A mob action often reflects the character of its leader.
Today, I visited Oba in Idemili South LGA to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Coordinated Wholesale Centre (CWC) for Pharmaceutical and allied products in accordance with the National Drug Distribution Guidelines (NDDG).
Earlier today I embarked on an on-the-spot assessment tour of some ongoing project sites around the State.
Some of the projects sites visited include; the new Government House and Governor’s Lodge Complex;
If you can afford a pencil, go home and give it to the public school in your community. When we all have this mindset, then we can be sure that we are halfway into creating a prosperous homeland.
God bless you all Immensely.

He expressed sadness over what he described as “sacrilegious killings” of innocent persons, kidnappings and all forms of criminalities, including the brutal enforcement of the senseless “sit at home” perpetuated by sundry groups claiming to be acting for or on behalf of IPOB.
Today, I announced the commencement of free and qualitative education across all Government owned Nursery and Primary Schools, including government owned secondary schools covering Junior Secondary School Students (JSS 1 - 3).
Yesterday, we made history once again, breaking a 32-year jinx as Students of Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha, emerged victorious in the World Affairs Challenge 2024!
This marks a first in the country
Our government is committed to protecting the lives, properties and rights of all lawful citizens within the State. I swore to do this, and I will keep to it. I look forward to events and programs that will deepen inter-faith/inter-religious harmony in our great State
Indeed, there is no credible pathway for him near the first two positions, and if care is not taken, he won’t even near the third position. Analysts tell him you don’t need “structure” to win. Fantasy!
As I pen these words, my heart brims with emotions so profound they transcend the scope of language.
Accompanied by Bishop Denis Isizoh of the Catholic Diocese of Aguleri, I embarked on a journey of immense significance.
We had far-reaching deliberations on key National issues, and I am excited at that prospect of a good working relationship with leaders of other subnationals for the good of our country, particularly ndị Anambra.
Today, I join millions of Nigerians in remembrance and celebration of the Posthumous birthday of the late Zik of Africa, the Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Benjamin Azikiwe - - Owelle Onitsha
When Bola Ahmed Tinubu defied the political wind of the time and stood out as the “only man standing” in AD and later AC (before ACN) against a sitting president of Yoruba descent, no one accused him of being “anti-Yoruba”.
A respected Igbo elder-statesman who called, advised that I should just ignore what he described as “Peter Obi and his social media mob”. According to him, “everyone knows that he is going nowhere, but they are looking for who to blame”.
One lesson I learnt from my former boss and mentor, President Obasanjo, is never to be on the fence. I learnt that one must always take a stand: for better or for worse. I do so with every sense of humility, and leave history to judge.
Today, no one has accused Afenifere or other strong presidential candidates from the South West of being “anti Yoruba” because Tinubu is a frontrunner, nor has anyone accused Kwankwaso and several other Northern candidates of being “anti-North” for not supporting Atiku.
Joe!
Your death is another rude reminder that life is transient. I actually spoke with him around 4pm yesterday, and 24hours later Joe is no more.
This cuts deep.
May the good Lord grant your soul eternal rest.
Rest in peace my friend Joe Anatune.

A Trip To Two Cities...
In two days I will be visiting the Cities of Lagos and Abuja to consort, once again, with Ndị Anambra and friends of the State in these major cities, on everything that must be done to ensure the actualisation of a Prosperous Homeland.
…prosperous people. I see us exporting massively to the world and the world coming to Anambra as a preferred destination to live, work, invest, learn, relax and enjoy. History beckons. Seize this moment Ndi Anambra, and together, let us make it count.
Stepping into the industrious heart of Nnewi, navigating the bustling lines of the Innoson Manufacturing Plant, I was filled with awe at the innovation, resilience, and forward-thinking that have become synonymous with this proudly Nigerian brand.
Of course, LP won governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun on social media and via phantom polls, while getting barely 2,000 votes on ground. Creating a credible third force for presidential election in Nigeria requires a totally different strategy and extreme hard work.
