It is with great sadness to hear today of the passing of one of our ex pupils - Cameron Bailey. All staff, pupils and governors at our school would like to pass our condolences on to all of his family and friends at this time.

New Horizons is a 5-day event featuring some top names from the worlds of literature & the arts, starting on Monday, 14th June.

Pupils, staff and families of Brynmawr Comprehensive have today donated items and money to local foodbanks to help alleviate pressure and worry for local families at this time.
Today we presented our Head Teacher's Learning Award to 37 pupils across both key stages. This award acknowledges determination, effort and positive attitudes in their learning at Brynmawr School. Well done to all pupils receiving their awards this term.
Please note that there will be paper, pens, exercise books and sanitary protection made available for collection for those that need it from Monday onwards.
Today we gave all of our Y7 pupils the gift of a reading book to encourage their love of reading and learning. All pupils were very grateful in receiving their gifts. We hope that you all enjoy them!

Today we held our Remembrance Assembly, organised and performed by our pupils. They spoke of the past and current conflicts, the history of the poppy and finished with a video showing ex BFS pupils who have served and are currently serving in our armed forces.
