Hearing of great work in East Belfast over the past few days by parents, community/youth workers to nip any potential trouble on the head. Its easy to demonise each other, but scratch below the surface to see what's really going on. I love this city, don't give up on it.

It's a measure of the man that Tommy Breslin was, with the outpouring of sadness from fans of others clubs. Just been contacted by the lads at the South Belfast Linfield SC, who are gutted for Reds. Some individuals go beyond the rivalries in football, Tommy was one of them.

Hearing politicians up at Stormont talk about the harm a criminal record will do to young people in terms of employment, travel etc. Do you think kids who feel they have nothing, care about a criminal record? Tackle the root causes, poverty, no prospects/opportunities.
