The Shishkin (Champion Chase) & Jonbon (Arkle) is 44/1 with Bet365. That seems overpriced to me and I’d imagine by October it will be considerably shorter than that.

My first bet for 2024 is… ALLEGORIE DE VASSY - Gold Cup 66/1 I think that Mares Chase form it TOP. Two elite animals and to my eye ADV got done for toe after the last. She’s a big mare and will claim 7lbs from the geldings. Will be seen to best effect at 3miles. 💕🐎

Last one from me: Us racing fans seem to have short memories… IMPAIRE ET PASSE can be backed at 20/1 for the Turners (2025). Certainly worth chancing, he will be one of Willies top Novice Chasers next season & he will likely split Ballyburn & IEP up for that reason.

Also, Firefox in the Supreme is a must bet if making a book IMO. He’s 25/1 and likely to be Gordon’s best for the race. Will be shorter on the day as excuses for the last run. It’s such a poor market, 25/1 looks big! (He beat Ballyburn…) 🐎🐎🐎

Bet365 are 25/1 on Klassical Dream for the 2023 Stayers. Odd to see the hold up tactics used on him last week. That price is just way too big for a horse with as much class as himself. I’d imagine he will go close at Punchestown (if that’s where they go) and half in price👍🏻

EMBASSY GARDENS was mega impressive today. That 9/1 for the Albert Bartlett looks good to me. Also, Allegorie De Vassy has so much talent. For me, the only thing that can beat her in the Mares Chase is herself. Such an engine!!

Take the 9/1 about GINNY’s DESTINY for the Turners. A very murky race, he’s guaranteed to run here & won’t be out the places. Fantastic run at the weekend! Lots of no shows in that market. I’d be taking Gaelic on all day at that price, Cheltenham isn’t his track. 🐎🐎🐎

GAELIC WARRIOR - BALLYMORE 14/1. It looks a poor market currently, I’m really hoping he can be the one to spark it to life. Mullins named dropped the race straight after the Boodles this year and Ruby gave him as his horse to follow for this season. 🤞🏼💕
