864 postal votes were ‘lost’ in Broughton and Scawby.
The two Conservative Councillors won by less than 175 votes.
They won’t be counted.
They should be counted or the election should be rerun, it should not even be a question.

The local election was a trial run, to see if it worked. And it did. Expect the Tories to win more seats using this tactic. Don't forget a low turnout will give us a hung parliament, that's what they want .

The votes should be counted and polling figures amended, whether it alters who is eventually elected or not. If the lost votes are not included, then the precedent that 'lost' votes can be ignored is set. Anyone aiming to exploit this would naturally make any loss look accidental
