Is now the time to promote all National Prem sides to EFL to make a EFL2 north and EFL2 south, with national league just a north and south. Making it regionalised up to league one, thus reducing strain on so many EFL2 and Nat Prem clubs.. travel savings and more local derbies???

Frustrates me seeing some Premier League players and managers moaning about their Christmas schedule, non league just as hard,yet we don’t have the benefit of masseurs dieticians luxury travel (or their money) plus there will still be some lads working in between. Real football!!

Can only thank everyone for the support over the last 24 hours after losing Dad so late Friday night. Whilst we knew it was coming, it is still hard to lose your hero. I was in absolute tatters! The football community has been incredible though and I will be forever grateful.❤️

What the hell are Hereford FC playing at, sacking a manager who has got them 3 championships in 3 seasons, so they have lost a few games, big deal, they are in a seriously competitive league now! One win off play offs also!! Lucky we work for a Chairman with some sense!! Disgrace

How do the FA let Liverpool get away with fielding an ineligible player and not kicking them out of the competition, when any non league team falls foul of the rules in the FA Cup it is immediate expulsion! 200k fine they will make that back in one round 👎 No surprise though!

10 years ago myself @JonUnders came together @GodalmingTown for our first game as joint managers in a 2-1 win at Chipstead in front of 71 fans! Fair to say we have come a long way since that day @sloughtownfc and thank all the great people and players we have met along the way!

17 points clear of relegation and 10 points behind the play offs with 7 to go, with the FA Cup run, and the chance of silverware, I would say we have more than equipped ourselves at the higher level. Only Sam and Francis out of who started today were not with us last season. 👍

10 years ago I was giving my first managerial job aged 29 with @FleetSpurs ! Great experience and a real grounding, having no money and literally doing everything from laying out kit to pitch maintenance! Stood me in good stead, and makes you realise how tough it was at step 6 👍

Have had 3 hours sleep, but still completely wired.... what a special night that was at Arbour Park, had to hang in the game for a 15/20 minute spell in the first half, but from there on thought performance was top drawer, fitness levels also excellent! Enjoy those nights 👍👍👍

Unbelievable character from our lads today!! To go down to 10 men after ten minutes and at nil nil and come away with a 4-2 win at Eastbourne who were 4th in the league is up there with one of our best results!! We were professional and clinical! Up to 7th 👍👍👍

Non League football is in disarray! Not every club is going to see eye to eye, some want to continue some won’t! Finances and safety play a huge part! I said in the summer with others that this was going to cause havoc and it absolutely has and will do for quite some time! 👎

Watched Binfield v Burnham tonight, if you want an example of his love and desire for the game, look at @JamesMcclurg who in 92nd min and one down vaulted two fences to retrieve a ball, got back on pitch, was thrown the ball, and started move which culminated in equaliser 👏👏👏
