Thank you to Squamish Artist, Xwalacktun, who brought us an 800 year old piece of red cedar to create a House Post for the new school. Thanks to the students who participated-many hands made light work! Xwalacktun will work with the students weekly!

Today at Burnaby North we congratulated Dai and Jean on their retirement, celebrated Laurent as he starts his new journey at Byrne and said “au revoir” to amazing, talented staff (and we hope we will meet again soon). Thank you to everyone and have a well deserved summer break!

We’re planning a Building Farewell event for the next school year. We know that our current community and alumni want a chance to say goodbye to the old building-which will take place in late fall of 2023! We’ll keep you posted and share more information in the fall.
