The gestation period of a horse is roughly 11 months and Adam’s Suffolk punch, Lexi, is due very soon. Work horses like Lexi weigh around a ton and, before tractors, they were widely used for all sorts of farming tasks. 🐴

We've found out today that 6 of our Albion cows are pregnant! There are around 170 Albion cattle remaining, so this is fantastic news for the breed. The calves are due at the end of July.

Working with the National Trust, we are planting our own woodland at Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire, which will be open to everyone to visit. The woodland will comprise of 3,600 tress, 27 different species over three different zones.
